Wow. Usually people swap OUT the red interior, not swap in. Still needs the door cards, dash, vents, airbag, steering wheel and column, and center consider. I imagine finding a red airbag would be difficult. And of course, swapping the dash would be a major PITA. You can get matching paint though. Paint the pieces until you can get around to finding the real deal.

@UmmYeahOk The red interior is super cool! Not sure why anyone wouldn't want it haha.

@@M-t3chit was rare for a reason. It had to be ordered, and not many people ordered it, which is why they stopped offering it after 1995. Commonly referred to as “porno red,” cars that had it were called “pimpmobiles,” even though pimps rarely drove mustangs.
Seeing that much red would overwhelm the driver, increasing the amount of stress and road rage acquired by a daily commute. This could be reduced by a steering wheel cover, since that was the part of the interior most focused on. Over time people would either swap it out entirely or just paint it, making the rare option even more scarce. But with the extremely limited color palettes modern cars of today have, the interior is starting to receive love.
I’ve had my 94 since 98, factory red interior. I have received both negative and positive comments on it. Guess which century either was in. Now then, I do recall ford offering a New Edge and an S197 with red trim, but they were mere accents, not full on.

@UmmYeahOk Pimps and red interiors do sound like they would go together lol. It is definitely a color from a different age.
Non regular car interiors are sort of cool now.

These cars aren’t quick or powerful but they are very enjoyable to drive.

@zDryx_ If you want something to mess around with, I'd totally rock that! Just make sure it's in decent shape. Convertibles are fun, especially as young people 😁
