- Today we take Sparky our high mileage BMW E36 M3 on a 1000 mile road trip to Nashville Tennessee. While we are there we go on quite a few side adventures and have a small breakdown. This is one of the longest videos we have ever made and a test for UA-cam to see if you guys like this sort of thing.
As always, like the video, subscribe, and we will catch you later!

Fantastic vlog. I had a wonderful time giving you and Steven a tour of Nashville in the 7er, can't wait to see you guys again!
@@kyyuhl Definitely!
This video didnt disappoint, you showcased at least 3 fine examples of each (Nashville) ... That 7 Series is a dream to drive when well sorted.. Smooth sailing.
@SHWELL11 I'm glad you enjoyed it! This was a long video haha. A lot happened.
We did a POV with the 7 Series as well. That will release sometime over the next monthish.
So good to see the m3 make the road trip. Reminds me of when I take mine out for an hour out drive and being able to make it back in just one piece Makes me love and appreciate the machine all the more!
@mateushroman I love how one hour is the bar XD. I tell my friends this:
I trust it to go to the track, beat on it all day, and then make it home. But whether or not it starts the next morning is a toss-up. Durable, not reliable. Hopefully, by next year, we can get closer to reliability.
Zipper merge? Roundabouts? My freedom brain couldnt fathom 😂
I know, it's a lot to take in.
Beautiful Car!
Thank you! She is my labor of love lol.
Great video I had a lot of fun driving ur car and I am excited to see your video on my lexus. And we are definitely racing next time you visit 😂
@@loganvolmer9691 Yes! We need to race.
Love this video, makes me want to go on more road trips
@@andrew.4g637 Yes! Do it.
I love a road trip in a high mile German car!
Yes! Who doesn't?
Thanks for visiting us in Nashville dude, till next time. Had a lot of fun!
Until next time ✌️
Also, you should make a UA-cam short about zipper merging
@@EstorilE36M345 Ngl, great idea! Added to my list. Thank you
I feel like I taught him how to do it professionally 😅
Totally agree
Great video i really enjoyed your blog looking at other cars and looked like you had a great time but must admit at the end of the video you looked like you was ready for going straight to bed 😅
@@mikesphoenix_e46m3 That is what I did ☠️
I’m greedy, I have about 3 chips at a time
If you can keep them in your mouth, then you are still crumb managing haha.
That E30 is pretty rare, seems to be a factory 1992 Mtech 2 kitted car. I believe they only came in automatic and were only available as convertibles in the U.S.
Ah, so we didn't know what we were looking at. It's a shame that the owner has left it outside with a busted top.
And who made that sandwich 😅
nice
The brass bleeder screw messes up the threads, so I put stainless steel tape around it to secure it! Also what do you mean fliud is coming out the side lmao
@kar2k That is a good idea! I over tighten them, which is why they strip out.
As for your question, when the cooling system is overpressurized, coolant pools up and spills over the top of the expansion tank, then down the side of it.
@@M-t3ch oh yea you scared me, lol the way you said it sounded like it had a leak.
Anyway yeah i have a roll of stainless tape tape, whenever I mix a metal with a plastic I use it, also even on the threads for the block like the engine temp sensor, i just put a little bit to help incase of any potential leaks. I overtightened mine also, but also remember the plastic is heated, probably not enough to melt but enough for the metal to strip it way easier
@@kar2k Interesting! Never thought to try that. If I go through another one after it's fixed I will give it a whirl.
Cannonball run when?
Those are dangerous words to say out loud...
That's not a very far drive. Drove my ninety civic from california to new york and back recently
The cars modern enough to make it no problem
@glenjonesiii576 Love it! I was unsure about this initially because of all the work we did to it, but she made it. With only minor hiccup.
1000 miles is easy. Did you bring basic tools though??
@EstorilE36M345 Yes haha. Wouldn't leave without them.
Why didnt you post this on mikus birthday 😭😭😭
@@BigMan-xl3rl A day late 🥲
