    Guys, I think that the girl is just close to the camera that’s why it sounds louder. This is why I hate recording because my voice sounds exactly like hers when I talk and I’m not even trying to be loud the camera is just closer.

    LMAO I work at a chatime and this isn't AT ALL how we were trained to make taro milk tea (not saying this video is wrong, it's probably right, and my location is probably just on crack) but we were trained to use a measuring cup to get about 200-350 cc of hot water, put in 3 or 4 scoops of milk tea powder, depending on size if if the drink includes toppings, 3 scoops for medium, 3 scoops for large with toppings, 4 for large without, and use 2 scoops of taro powder, not scaling the amount to the size from some reason, mix it, and then cool it down by puting it in the shaker cup with ice and sugar, depending on how much sugar the customer ordered, using this method, both the taro, and matcha milk tea, contain no tea, and technically no milk since we use non dairy creamer, I'm not sure if this is standard practice

      It's common for different places to have different procedures.. That's why people say this place is good and this place is bad.. Because each place uses their own method or some employees are from other places and just copy their old jobs recipe that worked.. There is no universal way to make boba it varies from place to place kind of like how every shop does chips differently

    Is there a substitute for the "FRUCtose/sugar-water"?

    • @cloudyonimbus3751
      @cloudyonimbus3751 3 роки тому +1

      Nothing's going to be as sweet as "FRUCtose/sugar-water" if you're looking for a replacement to cut back on the sugar. Honestly, taro flavor is sweet on it's own, and if you're using honey or brown sugar boba... I always skip the sugar because the boba itself is already sweet enough. If you want a 'healthier' alternative, you can try Stevia, which is a kind of sugar that comes directly from the Stevia plant... But it has a lingering aftertaste that leaves my mouth feeling a bit dry and bitter. So, I don't recommend it, personally-- Neither do I recommend any shelf sugar substitute, because the processing and chemicals in it are worse than just ingesting large amounts of REAL sugar... the same with butter subs, but that's a whole diff chapter- Oof.

And that measuring “cup” ur using is not a cup that’s more than that, ur “cup” actually measures out to 4 cups that’s why u pour in 4 of them to equal out to 16 cups.

      there definitely are ways to flavor your bubble teas without powders. for fruit flavors, some you make/get some fruit jam/concentrate to mix in with. making a taro concentrate is just more time consuming, which is why most stores use a powdered product. ive only found 3 stores so far in California that uses fresh taro among the hundreds of stores here.

      It is in powder form they dehydrate it then turn it into powder and add some other stuff to give it flavour but it is partly taro

      Its a disgrace.
      Every shop should follow the recipes so the taste is the same everyday!
      If i was rhe owner of the shop and saw this, i would be having some serious talk with them!

    • @alienc
      @alienc 3 роки тому

      Yeah some places don't taste test their own stuff or don't care they just come into work so random shit then go home.. Disgrace alright but they don't know any better unless someone tells them so try inform them nicely if you can.. An email works best but do it politely and you can follow up with a phone call.. In person would be the last resort unless you are very good conversational likeable guy.. Good luck in your boba adventures

    Did he use the same cup he put in the tea into the creamer? BRUH

    • @donthepham
      @donthepham  5 років тому +2

      Tea is water brewed with leaves. Creamer is water mixed with creamer powder. The creamer eventually gets mixed into the tea one way or another. It's okay, Joey.

      chimpz007 it’s the same thing as using a scoop to get instant coffee out of a tin then using that same scoop to get milk out of a carton 😂
