Ok so I tried it, and here's what I found: The tea does mix a little better into the milk and when you strain it, the fine pieces of tea are left inside, which could either be something you do or don't like. Also if you're using five teabags, the milk left in the teabags could be a bit of a waste. I'm sure it will work just fine if you put the whole teabag in though.
idk about fancy, but this definitely isn’t how “regular” tea is made in the west. a lot of people add a splash of milk to their tea, but that’s it. brewing tea in milk instead of water isn’t standard. i don’t think anyone but the people in the comments think this is fancy. imo they’re conflating the channel’s aesthetics with the drink for whatever reason
Wow I’m impressed! Thanks for the receipe 30-50 grams was way too much sugar for me; besides that…. amazing taste! Cant believe i spent $6 buying milk tea when i can easily make it at home
Put a cup of milk in the microwave with 1/2 bags of tea in it. Heat it up for 2 minutes and then squeeze the bags to release the aroma, then add brown (or white) sugar to you preference. Tastes less fancy and it's a lot less cool but it still gets that nice sweet flavour. :) Gotta adapt sometimes

@@kity1081 we... are talking about pronouns here?
I tried making it, delicous but way too sugary for my liking! Its definitely a treat to drink in very small quantities.
Thank you for the easy and helpful guide!
I’m just gonna make this now so I don’t have to walk 25 minutes to my local Tastea anymore. And I already have boba at my house so, yeah!
Now, this is mighty tasty! I watch those videos, of non Chinese people surprising Chinese restaurant folks that they speak fluent Chinese. Milk tea is always brought up and I was curious....
I tried this recipe and it turned out SOOO good!! 😃 anytime I want milk tea I always watch this video!!
I feel so lucky bc my mom makes milk tea every morning!
I just made it with soy milk, earl grey and indian sugar since that's what I had and I don't use milk. I think it turned out really well, thank you for the video! :)
Edit: I just realized I misspelled earl grey and now I feel stupid :,)
Sidenote? Haha.
I googled it since I wasn't sure what Indian sugar was in English and found out it might also be called "jaggery"? In anycase in Finnish it's "intiaani sokeri" :)
I just made that, but with flavored black tea and its amazing!!! Thank u ❤️❤️
What flavour was the tea?
@@cacasiandra_casandrovich5167 is nearly three years hahaha ,but it was one of the Liptons with flavour 🤣
This is so aesthetically pleasing! I’m going to make this for my mum, and I can tell already that she’ll like it. You seem to really appreciate your fans . Because you take time to like a lot of comments and reply to them! I really hope to aspire to be as successful as you. qwq You have a really cool business (I might buy from uwu), a really cool UA-cam channel and well, you seem so nice. honey_tree_ thank you so much! Such heart melting comment. 🥺 Do what you love bb, your passion and hardwork will make you successful someday ✨
Milk tea is literally the most common tea in my country and we drink it everyday
I made mine so yummy.
Inez Guiking wow thanks momsy!
I also recycled my Starbucks bottle! :) and if you want the exp. date on the bottle to go away you can try brushing it with a scrub or tooth brush it’s works like a charm and just scrub till it’s gone
Did this with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and stevia in place of normal sugar, and it came out pretty good! Thanks for the recipe! ^^
Ooh that sounds good
Good to know! I have been looking for a non dairy option!!
might as well drink water lol
i just realise thats how i usually make my tea sksksksk
I tried just now and it's soo good!! Next time I will use less sugar
Why did you cut the teabag just to strain it with a strainer later?
I'm thinking the same thing
i guess so it could mix better
Ok so I tried it, and here's what I found:
The tea does mix a little better into the milk and when you strain it, the fine pieces of tea are left inside, which could either be something you do or don't like. Also if you're using five teabags, the milk left in the teabags could be a bit of a waste. I'm sure it will work just fine if you put the whole teabag in though.
I used regular tea and 1/8 cup of brown sugar instead and it taste so good !
I put tapioca Pearl's in this and- AWOGA-
this tea with chet baker in the ground sounds amazing
To the ppl that actually will get it:
*C E L E S T I A L U D E N B U R G*
THATS LITERALLY THE FIRST THING I THOUGHT WHEN LOOKING THIS UP TODAY

I made this with unsweetened almond milk and it still tasted great!
Try the unsweetened vanilla almond. Takes it up a notch
Why is this considered "fancy" isn't it just regular but super strong tea in a glass bottle? 🤔
idk about fancy, but this definitely isn’t how “regular” tea is made in the west. a lot of people add a splash of milk to their tea, but that’s it. brewing tea in milk instead of water isn’t standard. i don’t think anyone but the people in the comments think this is fancy. imo they’re conflating the channel’s aesthetics with the drink for whatever reason
@@stevie8849 Not to sound uneducated but where's the "west"?
@@TurtlesAndTortoises302 The Americas and Europe
@@chaerrimimi1520 I'm from Europe and yeah, most people don't have a lot of milk in their tea but I do just because 🤷🏾♀️😁
I love getting just milk tea from the bubble tea stores. It’s just like “cha” in Bangladesh, but iced ❤ Thank you for the recipe.
This is going to sound like a dumb question, but what’s the metal thing at the end? That’s just a tea kettle right?
it looks like an electric tea kettle
I just made this using this recipe, drank it warm, and this. shit. SLAPS!!!!!! I’m now officially addicted and will be making this everyday!
Im indian we drink this everyday just make regular tea and put milk in it lol doesnt have to be this complicated
thats what i thought ... just a strong tea mixed with lots of hot milk...
ya all havent tried roasted milk tea before. it all depends on the tea leaves. Nothing is regular about it.
Wow I’m impressed! Thanks for the receipe 30-50 grams was way too much sugar for me; besides that…. amazing taste! Cant believe i spent $6 buying milk tea when i can easily make it at home
I'm an Indian and I just entered here to see if she's making it right.
same haha but bangladeshi and indonesian
looks so tasty...we will try this at home.thank for sharing
I'm figuring out on how to do this with a microwave bc I'm 13 🤧
Put a cup of milk in the microwave with 1/2 bags of tea in it. Heat it up for 2 minutes and then squeeze the bags to release the aroma, then add brown (or white) sugar to you preference. Tastes less fancy and it's a lot less cool but it still gets that nice sweet flavour. :) Gotta adapt sometimes
Thank you very much!
Wait are you not allowed to use to stove? I’m fourteen and I’ve been allowed to use the stove as long as I ask permission first
I'll try and ask my mom on how to use one lol
Wow this is incredibly simple, it could save me so much money making this than buying it outside
*wait this why is there an actual video for this, we drink this everyday in the morning and in the evenings and it tastes even better with ginger!*
disastrous dorji can you elaborate about adding this ginger? Just throw in a chunk and let simmer? Or juice it first? Amount?
@@DolceVitaGurl oh! dont use too much or else its gonna be spicy, just cut of a small chunk and crush it then add it after all the other ingredients are boiling.
Just made this, and it's SO good. I did 36g of sugar, and that was too much sugar for me, so just be aware it's really sweet. Super good though.
