- MasterChef Canada S02 E15 Full Episode: The two finalists will be creating a three-course meal for the judges in a head-to-head battle. For the appetizer, Line served foie gras with lobster, while David made tomatoes five ways with sweetbread. For the entrée, Line served an elk tenderloin in a potato forest, while David served wild boar belly with geoduck clams. I love how the chefs acknowledge David as a humble man...seriously I've repeated masterchef canada season 2 so many times just for David..he was amazing throughout the whole season. He truly proved himself

David was a winner from the onset.. His humility was topnotch and his food always spoke his greatness.. Line was so good too.. She literally fought her way to the top and it's sad that she's still fighting till date.. She lost one of her daughters to drug overdose about a year or two ago and she's been battling breast cancer.. It's really sad that she's still fighting for her life.. She's so strong.. I wish her great health

between her ongoing battle with cancer since 2019, and then losing her youngest daughter to a horrible car crash due to a truck running a red light, Line continues to inspire me with her sheer will and strong spirit! I was rooting for her when everyone in that kitchen was ganging up on her for being human and making mistakes. her journey and backstory is heartbreakingly beautiful and i wish her full recovery soon and the best in life 🤍

Lines ability to make excellent dishes even when she had no clue about the ingredients she was working with and her ability to learn how to prepare food by tasting it along the way was astonishing but ever since their first cook in episode 1 david just felt a cut above the rest and was probably the most clear cut winner in any season to date. Very deserved win from an incredible chef

Certainly a great finale, also showing why David was super consistent throughout, felt this was where it showed how much he had developed in the competition. Top work from both though to make this far. Onwards to Episodes of Season 3 next & what I'm sure was the positive season in many eyes due to the energy of Mary, Jeremy, Matthew, Shaun and others.
I loved how humble and respectful david is. He desserves the tittle. Hes a good man, proving everyone that he has lots to offer. He didnt finish school, a concrete worker. Despite of the hardships in life, hes so humble. Hes a man to his family
Up to this day, I still think that David is the strongest masterchef in all 7 seasons

i love how strong spirited line is. she has never backdown from a challenge and even though she didn't win masterchef, she still had a smile on her face the entire time!
tbh doesn't matter what david put on the finale. his journey to the finale is mostly win and win. deciding who is the winner is not a big task i think.

Yeah, they are saying "you're as good as your last dish" but ultimately it's not true, they are definitely considering how good the contestant is, not only the last dish. They would never eliminate David against fe Jon, even if Jon's dish would be much better.
What stood out to me from their previous competitors' comments, those who supported Line focused on her conviction while those who supported David talked more about his brilliant skills which says more to me and why he deservedly won

I'm not gonna lie, although I knew before watching this season who is going to win, seeing Line loosing in the finale was a little bit heartbreaking. But David deserved to win for sure and he seems to be such a great guy. I wish them both all the best, I hope that being the 2nd was enough for Line to pursue her cooking career.

So glad David won it, after trying in previous Episodes it's great to see an all-rounder with such focus and determination. 💯 The Best Chefs I see usually have a very mundane , even dare I say 'wooden' ''character'' , because they're just so focused on their passion and work.
Sad for Line but there has to be 1 'loser' finalist, and really Masterchef are amazing letting both finalists stand on that Podium.
