Even if Jeremy did not become a Masterchef, I know he’ll succeed in his career because of his passion and hard work.
I was disappointed when he didn't and I really hate it. Mary was so basic and Jeremy was the best all along.
@@MrPrinceredz i agree 😭
@@MrPrinceredz ğ88ggģç
He can be.Anyone can be.
@@MrPrinceredz says the one who just watching and not tasting the foods 🥵
As someone who is half Filipino, it’s nice to finally see more Asian representation the in media. Jeremy is by far my favorite runner up of Masterchef Canada, from his creativity and skills.
Asians are everywhere in the media lol wdym
@@UncleMsg Well, it’s getting more popular now then it was before. You get what I mean?
@@adelynnperalta i mean i guess
You gotta love Masterchef Canada then, there's at least one great Asian competitor in every season and two of them had won (S1 and 7).
@@chanterelle483 YUP- I really love watching Masterchef Canada. Way better than Masterchef US. Lol
Jeremy was easily one of the best runner ups so far
He is the best runner up.
@@Itsant33eh Andre might just be a bit better
If only Jeremy put his champorado on a small bowl, it would look more appetizing on the judges. But still, I didn’t even know that theres a Filipino cooked who joined MAster Chef. He was so good. He represent every Filipino dish so well.
not just jeremy but mathew too
I agree with you. I was also thinking the same that Jeremy should have just plated his champorado into a small glass footed dessert bowl, it would have made a better presentation.
no to plain, needs to be more elevated
Where is the champorado part in the video?

Bringing the underrated Filipino Dishes to International stage 💙💙💙
Filipino cuisine in general honestly are more home based, rustic and bold, you really cant do much of fancy plating on it, otherwise it will just look weird and forced, a average Filipino home cook (mothers and grandmas aged 60s and above) will just give out a strange stare on an overly fancied adobo or sisig and think its too pretentious.
True
No one cares about yall pinoys lmao
As a Filipino, my bias was Jeremy but then Mary isn't just a good cook she's a wonderful person too. Look how Mary looked at Jeremy when the Chef seemingly criticized Jeremy and suddenly said he actually loved his dish. Mary was happy for Jeremy when he got the Chef's approval. That's a nice person right there, a deserving winner. I mean, why would any one smile when your opponent is getting good feedback from the judges? 🏆🥇🏆
This is "Filipino Represent" Literally!, imagine our dishes on a cooking game show .. WOW!!!!!
Agree the sisig and kare kare
Jeremy: "I'm not going home on this cake."
*whisking intensifies*
wahahaha
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My first time to watch a Filipino chefs In Canada I’m so proud to be a Filipino Canadian like Jeremy god bless Jeremy . God bless more powers & strong mind body & spirit . .
I admire Jeremy because he shows he's very passionate about his heritage. He never thinks twice making them and spotlighting our dishes in the international stage.
Jeremy's finale dessert is one of the most unique desserts I've ever heard
I really want to eat it
It’s funny that they didn’t mention the purple cake or cookie bits floating in the dish, it’s Ube. When served, it dawned on me that the whole dish is a play on a very traditional warm dessert commonly cooked at home and served usually as Merienda (call it a in-between meals snack which we a few throughout the day in the Philippines). Back to the dessert, the Jack fruit, Ube and tapioca pearls swimming in Panna Cotta which is essentially the vessel and in the Philippines would be the coconut milk altho served warm, is the traditional “Ginataang Bilo Bilo”. Jeremy was not just cool as a cucumber under pressure, very composed. But he is very talented, quite a visionary, skilled yet stayed true to his roots. Love the guy, wish him well. I think he has a very very bright future and I’m inspired by how he uses this platform for absolute representation🙏🏼❤️
I was thinking halo-halo when I saw how he's preparing the dish 😁
@@keiko73 saem haha
@@jessicaal415 yup that is it 👍
True. Its really halohalo😂
The final round - It’s funny that they didn’t mention the purple cake or cookie bits floating in the dish, it’s Ube. Jeremy can go far and beyond of his passion for cooking...my mom used to say you can taste the mood of the chef or whoever cooks it... so when you cooked something and you cook qith love and passion, nothing can go wrong... and that what i do.. i always cook food for my family, relatives and friends with passion and love!!
Well said
Jeremy definitely repping the Filipino cuisine 🇵🇭
we are soo proud of you Jeremy!!! we can see and feel your humility...you are amazingly super talented! bravo 👏
This 2 finalist are the best finalist Ive so far. The friendship is there and its a peaceful competition.
I'm proud of you jeremy to cook our favorite food here in phil like sisig and kare kare.. and they love it..
The only filipino I know that participated in masterchef. A filipino pridee🇵🇭
Matthew also is a Filipino.
Francis B. from Masterchef US Season 5 is also half-filipino but then again he didn’t really make Fililpino based dishes
Jeremy and Matthew for Canada. I know for the US ones, it's Ralph Degala from 2018 season/Season 9 (same batch where Gerron Hurt won) and Joseph Manglimot from 2021 season/Season 11: Legends (where Kelsey Murphy won).
Sorry I just watch masterchef recently haha
But none of them actually grew up in the ph
The last dessert was a FANCY Bilo-Bilo. 🤣
Jeremy: we got this mathew
Mathew: let's represent buddy
❤🇵🇭
He cooked sisig, can not beat that. That thing is amazing.
Proud of them representing the flavors of south east asia
Jeremy's journey in Masterchef is very impressive! For me he is the winner! Proud of you, kabayan!
He is good! I watched him and saw his passion and determination. Sadly, his journey ended early in his second time.
Wut he died?
@@chaserseven2886 no
Early? Wasn't he the runner-up in season 3, losing to Mary Berg in the finale?
@@chaserseven2886 Nah, he just didn't make it as far as he did in Season 7, but then again, Season 7 returnees are really talented cooks
I thought he'll make it to the end on his second time. But he ended up earlier than I expected. That is what I'm trying to say. ☺️
not a single filipino dish rejected in this season. filipino cuisine really underrated.
Very intense,he raised the Filipino food, with a twist,, very proud of you kabayan ❤️❤️❤️
Jeremy is 1 or rather i would say the only masterchef contestant(a leader at that) i saw who is cool and does not lose control of his temper and composure at any given time. Kudos to you and to your family. 🍺🍺
Thank you for reiterating and making more interesting our root dishes in the world of cooking and eating. ❤❤
He has such a beautiful soul.
I AM SO PROUD OF JEREMY AND MATTHEW FILIPINO REPRESENTATIVE
The recipe names and captions itself, so foreign to many yet so Filipino to Filipinos, is Jeremy's way of putting a face to the most underrated and often snubbed cuisine in this part of Asia. Jeremy's passion and love for his roots made all this possible. Now, it's not just Lechon but a lot more to name and look forward when someone thinks of Filipino food.
When he said, "we eat rice with everything". I remember eating macaroni soup (sopas) with rice 😆
And the champurrado with the dried fish
🤣🤣🤣😊
We eat Spaghetti with Rice😅🤣
@@seanpaolojuderial783 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
yeah
How could he lost? His dishes really looked creative and yummy.
Salamat kabayan khit saan tayo mkarating ipgmamalaki ntin ang ating mga lutong pinoy kakaproud
oo pre nakakaproud nga eh akalain mo yun masterchef na mga yan
The team challenge one is the best performance by him... It really shows that he can lead a kitchen
If I were a restaurateur, I would hire Jeremy as my head chef, let him create the menu and I'll watch my restaurant reap in profits. I'd give him 50% share of the profit of course.
But actually scratch that! He should establish his own chain of restaurants and I believe in his talent that he can make it.
BRAVO! Like my curiosity to watch to the end, Jeremy continued RISING to the top. Well done 👏
Bangis mo talaga kabayan jeremy. Basta pinoy kayang kaya makipag sabayan sa ibang lahi. Proud kame sau idol ka namin sa kusina. Congrats! 👍😁😂🔥🇵🇭
Filipino dishes instilled with his own originality. Do not be afraid of being unique because it can make us stand out and elevated ❤️👍👏👏👏 Great Job Kabayan! Kudos to you 👏👏❤️

Wow.. Ang galing ni jeremy😊😊😊👏👏👏👏👏
the last dessert that Jeremy made was beautiful and looks appetizing, i want to take a bite😋
I think the reason he lost is because of his main dish (the sushi). He did a great job but Marry’s dish was incredible
i am so proud to watch this video especially jeremy cook our originality sizzling sisig from pampanga philippines 🖤🖤🖤
If I didnt go to comment section in the early start of this video I wouldnt know that Jeremy is a Pilipino congrats Kabayan salute🖖

Wonderful dishes, MasterChef Jeremy!!! You're my winner!🏆🏆
So proud you cook sisig, that's an authentic recipe from the Philippines, and better to partner it with San Miguel beer hahahaha...
BTW, what was the dish that made him lose? Coz all he's done were masterpieces! I am so proud of him, to think this is the only video I have watched yet. I usually watch the whole show.
i think in season 3 its his entree that was underwhelming compared to mary's.
As a Filipino im proud of him
I love Jeremy
wishing him the best of luck in the future !!!
never been so proud as a filipino
proud pinoy here super proud
honestly think Claudio was a little overcritical in the finale main course tasting, it was such an impressive cook!
I just can't get enough of his skill
One of my favorite runner-ups at MasterChef Canada💖
