I just went to the new movie and I really liked it! The actresses are perfect, Reneé is amazing and I really like the arrangements done to the songs to fit the movie. I'm sad some were cut but I'm happy with the ones that were in it! The movie is nothing revolutionary, but it gets the job done: they said movie musical of Mean Girls and that's exactly what it is.
Going tonight and I’m so nervous but separating it in my mind as something completely different. Personally I would’ve loved it to get the Into the Woods or Les Mis treatment over Grease or Dreamgirls treatment but maybe that makes movie musicals more palatable for bigger audiences 😢

I just went to the new movie and I really liked it! The actresses are perfect, Reneé is amazing and I really like the arrangements done to the songs to fit the movie. I'm sad some were cut but I'm happy with the ones that were in it!
The movie is nothing revolutionary, but it gets the job done: they said movie musical of Mean Girls and that's exactly what it is.
Going tonight and I’m so nervous but separating it in my mind as something completely different. Personally I would’ve loved it to get the Into the Woods or Les Mis treatment over Grease or Dreamgirls treatment but maybe that makes movie musicals more palatable for bigger audiences 😢

I hated when I found out they made Mean Girls into a musical, but when I found out Janis was played by Barrett Wilbert Weed(Veronica from The Heather's Musical), I was in love. I only like her songs though lol😅 her voice is freaking amazing ❤
I saw the movie yesterday and am completely re-obsessed with Mean Girls. Love this video and I love your enthusiasm. Please try and react to some more songs. Personally I also really loved the song World Burn, though my favorite version is with Renee Rapp singing it (she does it in the movie). Taylor Louderman is AMAZING, but there's just something about Renee Rapp that makes me absolutely lose it. World Burn, Someone Gets Hurt and I'd Rather Be Me are my favorite songs (from both the musical and movie musical)

I saw Mean Girls on Broadway years ago and LOVED IT!! I really hope the movie brings the same kind of fun, even though nothing can top the OG movie.

Barrett Wilbert Weed is iconic for the Broadway versions of these songs (and everything else she does), but Auli’i Cravalho did excellent with them in the 2024 movie musical too

World Burn, Someone Gets Hurt, Meet the Plastics, and Revenge Party are also musts. Cautionary Tale is the short prelude but I also like it. It Roars and Stupid With Love are both kinda mid IMO, but still worth listening to, gotta get some Cady songs in there lol
