Her brother created so many of the hits we watched in the 70s. I remember when Happy Days came on I was at my friends. We watched the first episode having dinner & watching a little TV on the kitchen table. I really miss those days & those friends.

I have read that since she and Carrie Fisher had similar birthdays, they would throw these amazing joint birthday parties. I hope they are both together now having the best party every. Scott, I always appreciate you and thank you for showing us her home & grave. Take care.

I would set my alarm so I wouldn't miss an episode in the morning. I loved her and her work growing up as a kid. She was apart of my childhood and brought so many great memories involving my mom and I. RIP to Penny and Garry Marshall. Thank you, Scott, for all that you do to bring us these wonderful stories!
Just lost my mother this past August and I have grieved constantly since then. In 1980, her home was in a nondescript single level apartment complex in the middle of the San Fernando Valley. I was a Beverly Hills Motorcycle Messenger and met her at her door with one of the fastest pick-ups and delivery - about twenty minutes. She remarked - "Wow, you really are" in that Laverne voice. My Yellow jacket said "Now Messenger". I'll always treasure that. Thanks for the video Scott.

Laverne & Shirley was in reruns when I was watching it in my youth but I still quote it, even though most have no clue what I’m referring to 😂 “Betty please, Betty pick up please” And at one time, I even had cats named Lenny & Squiggy. I didn’t realize Penny directed Jumpin Jack Flash but that movie sure left an impression on me too and it was at that moment when I saw it that I decided whenever I was old enough to work, it had to be some place where I’m behind a computer, and sure enough if that didn’t come true 😊 RIP Penny 💐

Penny Marshall, great actress, director, producer, and voice over personality. I recall her one appearance as the leader of Kissteria in the Scooby-Doo movie where the gang met KISS. Great work remembering her.
The first tv show that I remember seeing Penny on was The Odd Couple with Tony Randal and Jack Klugman. She played Jack's secretary. Scott you always show respect in your videos, but to me in this one at the end it seems like you were about to tear up which is ok when someone you love has passed away.
I was fortunate to meet Penny Marshall in her home. I was part of the three man crew that installed the alarm in her house. She was so nice and even brought us In & Out for lunch one day. We were there for three days. She wasn't there most of the time. I was a big fan and was in awe when I was in her house.

Thank you for this lovely tribute to two of my favorites! Penny & Garry. 🥰
Alot of credit should also be given to her brother Garry Marshall. If it wasn't for him, no one would have ever heard of Penny Marshall.
exactly.
I love Laverne and Shirley 🥰
Laverne & Shirley was in reruns when I was watching it in my youth but I still quote it, even though most have no clue what I’m referring to 😂 “Betty please, Betty pick up please” And at one time, I even had cats named Lenny & Squiggy. I didn’t realize Penny directed Jumpin Jack Flash but that movie sure left an impression on me too and it was at that moment when I saw it that I decided whenever I was old enough to work, it had to be some place where I’m behind a computer, and sure enough if that didn’t come true 😊
RIP Penny 💐
I Was 9 In 1976 And Fell In Love With Penny And Cindy As Laverne & Shirley Never Missed A Show When She Passed Away It Was Like I Lost My Family It Truly Hurt And It Still Dones Penny You And Cindy Made Me And The World Laugh When Time's Was Tough Or Wasn't Tough And I Love You Both For That ❤️💔
Loved watching reruns of the show as a child, and what a career she had. ❤️
Scott, thank you for all your hard work covering these locations and the amazing details and people you do. Hoping nothing but the best and brightest new year for you! Take care.

Great video in memory of Penny. One of my favorites
Funny you did this. 👍 I was just watching a episode of Match Game, and Penny was on it. A young penny. She was so quiet, seemed so shy. It was Refreshing to see her on Match Game. They had all the Celebrities, that was in the 70s. Thou I never saw any of the original episodes. I sure knew who Penny Marshall was. Who could not Love Penny Marshall. It's Good how close her and Gary was.Great Actress, Great Director. Yeah I shed a few years when I heard she had passed.🥺🙏🕯️🥰🦋🌠🌌💖. I'm always surprised to learn how Old they be. Like the movies, TV shows keep you time less. You never age in TV shows, or the Movies. I wish we could all not get older than 40.👍 RIP Penny, aka Laverne.🥰🕯️🦋🌠🌌💖🕊️🌹🌷🌻. Thanks Scott, for paying Respect, And Showing Penny and Gary some 💕 Love. Take care. Love, respect and positivity always. Vee J.✌️🖖🕯️💞🙂👋.
Me and my mom loves Laverne and Shirley, rip Penny Marshall 🙏🕊
Penny Marshall, great actress, director, producer, and voice over personality. I recall her one appearance as the leader of Kissteria in the Scooby-Doo movie where the gang met KISS. Great work remembering her.
great job,love it!!!
I go back to the American Graffiti days...We had a Mel's Drive In...Loved Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley.
The first tv show that I remember seeing Penny on was The Odd Couple with Tony Randal and Jack Klugman. She played Jack's secretary. Scott you always show respect in your videos, but to me in this one at the end it seems like you were about to tear up which is ok when someone you love has passed away.
Yes I really loved Penny Marshall and her show reminds me of watching tv with my parents
I was fortunate to meet Penny Marshall in her home. I was part of the three man crew that installed the alarm in her house. She was so nice and even brought us In & Out for lunch one day. We were there for three days. She wasn't there most of the time. I was a big fan and was in awe when I was in her house.
Loved her on L&S but also my favorite voice actress for Mrz BOZ the babysitter Bandit "Lucille Botzcowski" on The Simpsons. RIP L , great job on this Scott
What an icon they both were . I remember growing up watching everything they did . Laverne and Shirley was my all time favorites. Garry was like the great version of the Godfather of films . Once again Scott vee respectful. Thanks for taking me with you .
Growing up in 80s 90s she brought alot of special times on television

As a kid I remember first seeing her on "The Odd Couple ". Ironically the "Laverne & Shirley" concept was a female version of The Odd Couple.
