Didn't many Mandalorians saw and hated Death Watch for their ways, maybe more and more Mandalorians began to notice that the old Mandalorian way was just mindless butcher. Jango deeply hated Death Watch for the death of Jaster Mereel and if you think about it, the Siege of Mandalore was Jango's revenge and last win. A bunch of clones of himself winning the battle.
Jango also had a wholesome side to him in his own Mandalorian way teaching Boba the trade of bounty hunting, each one of our favorite beskar-clad warriors expressed the different ways the Mandalorians viewed themselves and how they viewed the other factions
Even in Star Wars, where each planet is so homogenous they might as well just be a country on earth with how singular they tend to be, each group of peoples will have divisions in ideals and ethics of how they should act, even if they're all reading from the same code. It all depends on the individual and it just kind of worked out that the show focused on the more decent Mando at first.
Even so. He and Death Watch remained hidden for fear of what Jango Fett might do to them if he found out Death Wath survived. So after finding out he died they came out of hidding.
@@cliffysilver6612, to be fair, Vizsla did come up with an almost identical plan back in Season 2. It's just that Maul changed the invading force Death Watch would "liberate" Mandalore from from the 501st to the Shadow Collective. Which definitely worked out a lot better.
What I like about Pre Vizsla is that he is a really good politician as we see in the first Mandalorian arc of the clone wars and later the founding of the shadow collective with Maul. His weakness is that he is not a good military leader who acts brashly and impulsively, for example when he and death Watch slaughter that village from a strategic perspective it was pretty stupid move on Pre Vizsla's part by allowing a son of Senator watching the damn thing ruined potential alliance that could have take down Dooku or given enough resources for his takeover of Mandalore since like i said Lux was a son of senator who is wealthy regardless it was a stupid move on Pre Vizsla's for making Lux watching the atrocity ruining everything!
If argue he didn't see it through to its final conclusion so why would he off himself halfway there? That there being the final conclusion which I would think would be order 66? Idk
@@maximillianschauer1439a lot of his ideals and goals did succeed. As a individual warrior and a leader he failed where as a revolutionist and idealist he won
Okay, this one I actually kind of agree with, unlike the last video about Mandalorians. The Death Watch, especially the likes of Pre Viszla, Gar Saxon, Rook, and all the others who choose to remain loyal to Maul and later sided with the Empire when they came to power, were evil and they represent the worst aspects of Mandalorian culture. But at least the likes of the True Mandalorians, Din, Sabine, and many other Mandalorians are at least trying to make things better for the Mandalorians, showing that warrior cultures are not inherently a bad thing if tempered by honorable things like what the new Mandalorians of recent years have done, the Mandalorians are evolving and becoming better, so there is hope for the future for the Mandalorians to survive and thrive and not be assholes who harass the rest of the galaxy. Much like with the Republic, I'm still loyal to the Mandalorians but the actual good ones who are trying to make things better like I'm loyal to the actual good parts of the Republic before it was corrupted completely into the Empire.
@@regularguy2807 She's a little more tricky to say whether she's good or evil. She did a lot of terrible things, but she and some of the other members of Death Watch that defected when Maul took over like Sabine's mom Ursa, have tried to be better and actually do some good in the galaxy and be more honorable. So she's a little more complicated and more up for debate on what side she falls under, kind of like Anakin, he did a lot of terrible things as Darth Vader but he also did a lot of good before his fall like during the Clone Wars that shouldn't be discounted, so it's harder to say weather he's good or evil when you take everything, the good and the bad, he did into account together.
Look guys... As individuals you're alright, great even. But look at your people's history without bias and you'll see it's not THAT what you are. War is hell and people who fight in it, make a whole culture about it, aren't good people. There will always be expectations, you've seen plenty of proof of that, but history cannot be ignored just because you find it painful.
Interesting they lump Pre Vizsla in, with that of the other Mandalorian factions, given he was the leader of Deathwatch, not the True Mandalorians. Honestly though, the only evil Fett was Castus. Jango was a good man and leader before the coward Tor Vizsla orchestrated a massacre and had the Jedi do what Deathwatch couldn't. Jango was a hard man, yet he had a soft side for those few he got close to. Namely Rozz and Boba.
The Mandalorians never really bothered with good and evil, rather the idea of Survival of the Fittest. Vizla took things too far unlike his predecessors who were intelligent enough to say when.
You think the old mandos in the old republic did not take things to far? They committed genocide against innocent people and used nuclear weapons on civilian populations. They are a million times worse. People like you need to stop romanticizing these people. Oh right you are falling for Disney’s butchered version.
probably one of the worst decisions was trying to repaint Bo Kotan as anything other than a villain. She was Vizla's right hand, supported him wholeheartedly, and saw no issue with assassinating her sister, destroying her legacy, violently extorting and oppressing weaker worlds, and throwing Mandalore's lot in with the Separatists. So in season 7, her attempts at guilt-tripping Obi-Wan were absolute garbage, and the idea she's a worthy leader of the Mandalorians is also garbage. Rebels is bad but it at least introduced clans more worthy of leading Mandalore than Bo Kotan. Filoni is revealing more and more that he needs people to reign him in cause if not he just likes his OC Ladies getting everything even if they don't deserve it.
Bo-Katan never qualified as a worthy leader. She failed her people several times over, even having to ask for help from the Republic. The fact that she remains in charge is absolutely asinine, and I would've preferred Boba taking her place after a badass duel. Book of Boba Fett was a mistake, as is the current direction for Bo-Katan, who deserves a shallow grave & nothing more.
I hate how star wars producers are trying to shove the idea down our throats that bo deserves to rule mandalore. She should be the last person to rule mandalore
I never liked the Mandalorians as a kid, but now that I’m older, I love Pre Visla. He’s such an amazing character, who speaks to a lot of different hubris’s.
Disneys mandalorians are too soft compared to the EU mandalorians who worshipped war and brutality because they were portrayed more villainous with a code, and that’s what made them more appealing
I always pictured The Mandalorian Code as something that evolved out of necessity after Mandalorian society fell apart and they were all forced to find work as bounty hunters and mercenaries. A policy of always completing contracts to avoid being labeled as a backstabber or someone who couldn't get the job done and thus never getting hired again morphed into a belief that you always keep your word. A policy of minimizing collateral damage to avoid trouble with local authorities morphed into a belief that you never harm the innocent or defenseless and so on.
I think youre getting tarre confused with tor vizsla, Tarre vizsla was around a few hudndred years before death watch, the true mandalorians and the new mandalorians were even formed.
I’ve been thinking lately just how devastating Pre Viszla would have been if he was force sensitive and learned how to fight with the force through his ancestor, Tar Viszla’s writings as a mandalorian jedi.
Between the Republic committed ethnocide against the Mandalorians and the genocide committed against them by the Empire, which one is the one they deserved more? At this point, I just don't know anymore. Are all Mandalorians evil and do all Mandalorians deserved to die or not?
Except Pre Vizla and Death Watch *don't* represent Mandalorian culture at all, Filoni just doesn't understand the lore as usual. Death Watch themselves are dishonourable and excessively violent like Pre-Ordo mandalorians. Filoni just pretends that Death Watch and their sub groups = Mandalorians and fucks up everything. In the canon it seems like the people of Mandalore aren't really true mandalorians, because the only real Mandalorians who aren't death watch terrorists are the Old Mandalorians who work as mercs in the Outer Rim, but as far as we know they haven't done anything noteworthy apart from a few skirmishes with the empire.
There was interesting points you captured into here that indeed brings back to the darker side of the Mandalorian history but I feel you didn't captured true complexity of the situation, especially claiming that the Mandalorians never were honorable back during the Old Republic in notion and that of Death Watch being representive of it, its much more complicated than that as it's an "Yes and No". The Death Watch represented the worse that had always been there that can be much seen but the True Mandalorians represented more for the honorable aspects that was there. You've overlooked on fact there had been Mandalorians who chose live by their culture by being better individuals through hardships as for an example as seen in Mandalorians who purse civilian professions, the Mandalorians belief in pursing challenges and growing from it can apply this in being a merchant, a doctor, a farmer, and so forth in being the very best they can be into the role and there were Mandalorians who played their roles too in helping the galaxy instead of the times they were an terror like during the Mandalorian Wars. Look at Mandalore the Uniter himself did during the New Sith Wars, he was essentially like the Aragorn version of a Mandalorian when he came back to Mandalore find it in chaos and his family nearly wiped out, when he brought many Mandalorians back to Mandalore to reform themselves in the Return and drove out the pirates that raided them. He set forth on creating better relations with their neighbors in offering protection services and creating stability within those Star Systems, while it unfortunately got its greyer lines as later Mandalores chose to look in creating power, Aga Awaud himself can genuinely be considered an Hero that's still not only a celebrated figure by Mandalorians but also outsiders in the Outer-Rim. Just be careful not to over simplified when getting into those rightful criticisms of the Mandalorians as one can still be a great fan of them while still acknowledging the bad when knowing the details greater and seeing the culture for what it is. It comes down to like this much like looking at our own world's past warriors like the Samurai, the very best were proud men and women driven by a code that they were willing give their lives for what they believed in while the worse were bloodthirsty killers. Hell even when Pre Vizsla claimed to the Ming Po people that "You don't allow the weak to command the strong" was in violation of traditional Mandalorian beliefs as for the Chieftain to display bravery to stand up to him showed the value of growing strong that the Mandalorians have traditionally believed in when you are willing to stand before danger, showing that you were not weak afterall. “Foreigners aren't without honor. Take a look at any outsider who struggles against oppression or injustice and you will see someone with the body of an aruetii, but the soul of a Mando'ad.” - Jango Fett, on his decision to incorporate non-Mandalorian drill sergeants into the Cuy'val Dar Overall keep developing out your Mandalorian videos and do indeed capture the darker realities but get into more of the details as you do have an unfortunate habit looking at one lens than the full scale.
I feel like for all these reasons stated in the video we're seeing that shift in the mandalorians presented in cannon now. Even Bo katan trying to think differently to make something better for the future. These people have been ravagers and the ravaged for so many thousands of years that maybe, just maybe, the so few who are left now will finally turn away from that darkness and at least try to live a little more honorably and with a little less bloodshed over whose the strongest. Star Wars seemingly always held that nearly anyone can make a change for the better one day, even if its the long way around.
Though the Mandalorians are culturally rotten and power driven, they are labeled as bad guys (I know there are good Mandalorians) so I ask this, what is actually considered good in the galaxy of Star Wars? We know the Republic, the CIS, The Empire and the Rebel Alliance are not overly good no matter what their intentions are. So I ask, what is considered “being good” in Star Wars?
They not going to like this one. I talk a lot of shit about the Mandalorians, but I love and respect the old ways. Despite how abhorrent it is. I’d rather the Mandalorians be shown following the old ways, it just makes more sense. The more ‘honorable’ Mandalorian they go for now just doesnt feel right or very sincere to me
Their was a sense of honor to the old mandalorians, but it was the concept that battle was all that mattered. If you didn't fight, you were lower than a slave as far as they cared.
@@Apoc_Bone_Daddy I wouldn’t say that, what can I say? Death Watch is interesting to watch. Outside of the Mandalorian Wars and the aftermath, they’re not all that interesting

The Templin Institute explores the topic of the “Proud Warrior Race” and how as a society it is set up to fail just like the Mandalorian culture. Too much focus on individual honor and glory, might makes right and crush all who are weaker. The answer they come up with is a society where a national identity is tied to military service to the nation and not to individual groups, families or clans as is the case for Mandalorians and Klingons. The full video has a great overview on this.
....So I'm not gonna lie, but I think Pre Viszla was a neccesary evil, imagine how bad Mandalore would have been if they were still a pacifist regime when Palpatine or whichever of his Grand Moffs, turned his eye on ripping all the beskar from Mandalore that he could.
The Mandalorian culture is one of the most well-rounded cultures in the Star Wars universe. We see the Good, the Bad, the Ugly and the Grey in so many examples. A lot of fictions don't do that for warrior cultures (Klingons for example), which frankly makes it flat and dull in my opinion. They're more than just warriors even if that's the traditional (or orthodox) way of their history. They have a culture beyond the martial, going into spiritualism and a respect for art and crafts. But also showing "the dark side" of their beliefs, which are shown in Pre and Gar. Personally, I always figured there was more to Pre then what we saw in the show, that he wasn't just born that way, but became that way over time like all the good villains. Before the Legends canon was replaced, many fans believed he had close relations with Tor Viszla, likely as his son or grandson. And boy Tor really exemplified the dark side of Mandalorian culture in a way that only Pre came close to showing.
...My Legends-verse fellow operatives unfortunately don't know this guy. Moving along. In a mostly connected sidenote, Kal Skirata is one terrible father figure.
I see the more recent mandalorians not good or bad and still the same as they have always been but they are just recovering so maybe in the future we might see mandalorians being more brutal once they have increased their numbers
Jango Fett will always be the GOAT of Mandalorian culture. Not only is he a boss, but he’s pretty much your Average Joe just making the best of what he’s given.
I’m sorry I stand with Vizla .Especially at the end of his life he died with honor in my opinion.Canderous is my favorite mando .I know he is legends ,but he was definitely more brutal than Vizla.
I don’t mean to be cold, but wouldn’t that mean the Imperial takeover of Mandalore was sort of a reboot of Mandalore? It’s certainly not anything close to Satine’s New Mandalorians, but don’t you think Bo Katan probably has learned enough from her life to lead the Mandalorians in a better way? I mean, she’s spent a large chunk of her post-Death Watch life fighting for the Mandalorian people. First she actually rebels against Maul instead of just going along with tradition to the point she’s willing to free her sister and ally with the Jedi and the Galactic Republic despite once being enemies. Then she actually refuses to become the Imperial leader of Mandalore and later on joins the rebellion to overthrow the Empire. At the very least, the Mandalorian certainly leaves me uncertain of how Bo plans to lead her people. The destruction of the Darksaber seems to be the end of an era, but where do the Mandalorians go? They certainly have their own opinions of the New Republic, but they hate the Imperial Remnant more. And now they actually have an alliance with Nevarro to maintain. And what about the Mandalorian Protectors, who seem to have been in a strange grey zone during the Prequels. While Mandalore had a police force that suffered from corruption, the Protectors were actual Mandalorian warriors. Some served as Satine’s guard wearing different uniforms and using staffs, but others were dressed and armed as traditional Mandalorians like Fenn Rau and his Skull Squadron. Clearly Fenn Rau and any other Protectors who trained the Clone Troopers broke plenty of rules with the New Mandalorians, but the organization as a whole was allowed to operate and had a firm dislike of Death Watch even after the Clone Wars. Basically Geetsly, a video on the role of the Mandalorian Protectors probably would be nice. Personally, I think while Satine had no issue with allowing the Protectors to continue their role of being loyal to whoever rules Mandalore, a bigger reason for their continued existence was because they might have sided with the New Mandalorians in the Mandalorian Civil War which brought the group to power. Alternatively, maybe even Satine realized the Protectors were needed in less civilized parts of Mandalorian Space. Not every planet in the sector might have been as secure as Mandalore itself which seemed to only need a police force.
Yes the mandalorians were mostly bad guys but to say they were never honorable before the True Mandalorians is not true. Canderous Ordo makes it very clear the Mando way is honor through combat and was very disturbed so many Mandos became killers for hire
How can you tell someone hasn't watched stuff like Rebels? They pronounce names like "Tarre Vizsla" as "TarrE" Rather than "Tar". I believe you ALSO mis-spelled "Iokath" calling them "Lokath" back in a video you made talking about the Eternal Empire. Now, understandably, I get being able to missunderstand a capital I from a small l, they are so identical after all. But if you had understood that names always start with a capital letter, you would not have made that mistake. Better yet, you can even copy the first letter in Iokath from theWookieepedia, and put it in google search, and you'd only get search alternatives starting with the letter I rather than L.
I hate to disagree, but I do. The Resolnare is the dictating force behind the Mandalorians. Part of the was community. Living the lifestyle, raising your children in it, respecting traditions and your superiors. The Mandalorians were neither good, nor bad, light not dark; like most of the galaxy. Did they do horrible things in the passed? Sure. So did the Empire and The Republic. The Mandos are just people.
There is nothing wrong with mando wanting peace, especially with grogu around. Only problem is, his religion is literally weapons and combat. Not a great situation to be a guardian to a baby jedi.
Thing is legends don’t really do the Mandalorians justice portraying them as just blood thirsty conquerors with nothing admirable about them so I thing the mandalorian was a way to compensate and show they do have honor and admirable qualities self improvement taking on harsh challenges devotion to family clan solidarity the warrior way of the mandalroe. The thing is as much as I disagree with the dishonorable conduct of death watch they did have a point about the new mandalorians they were weak essentially Republic puppets reliant on the support of the senate and Jedi that made mandalorian loose their culture their pride and self respect.
So is Mando culture kinda like how core Judasim branches out into different religions? Maybe im over simplifying but theres other people in the comments with better takes.
I always knew the inherent mandalorian was nothing but a mindless thug. Their true culture revolved around nothing but senseless violence just for the heck of it. I mean, look at what they did to their own homeworld. The planet mandalore was nothing but decaying wasteland completely devoid of anything besides just ash and rubble. This was result of their own chaotic and restless nature. Sabine: “this is what unyielding constant war has done to my home.” What it really seem to take be a mandalorian was just being dangerous sociopath who doesn’t know how to act and is completely devoid of heart and soul. Kanan: “what is with you mandalorians?! You act as if you can’t even survive two seconds without developing the urge to start viciously firing your blasters at a wall!” Just look at the great mandalorian war when they tried to take over the galaxy. Their history is really not that complex, it’s all just chaos and mayhem and destruction and murder and hooliganism and nothing else. “Peace, friendship, compassion”. Mandalorians probably don’t even know the meaning of such words. Mindless hooligans who attack anything, even each other. “Why are the mandalorians attacking these people and are trying to kill each other all the time? No reason, it’s just how they are and is what they do.” The mandalorian people are the very personification of a loose cannon. A mandalorian: “when I get home, I think I’ll go kill my husband and kids just because I feel it.” They are absolutely the most violent and destructive and chaotic culture in the entire galaxy. At the top of the list. No other race or culture to rival their insanity.

Jango also had a wholesome side to him in his own Mandalorian way teaching Boba the trade of bounty hunting, each one of our favorite beskar-clad warriors expressed the different ways the Mandalorians viewed themselves and how they viewed the other factions
The death watch was literally seen as an extremist sect by other mandolorians
You can’t expect all Mandalorians to be the same.
Sure you can. It’s called being racist

homelander: Yummers.!
This reminds me of the morden romanticism of Bushido and the samurai of Japan versus what is actually recorded in history and factual of that culture.
He will always remind everyone that he is Pre Viszla of clan Viszla
who?
An honor that he doesn't deserve.
Even so. He and Death Watch remained hidden for fear of what Jango Fett might do to them if he found out Death Wath survived.
So after finding out he died they came out of hidding.
When literal terrorists fear the mere mention of your name, that's how you know you're an absolute G.
It's Disney...They need to water down everything for modern day audiences.
Pre Vizsla's plan to decieve Mandalore in order to take it back for the warrior ways certainly shows how he takes after Tor.
Well it was more Maul's plan
@@cliffysilver6612, to be fair, Vizsla did come up with an almost identical plan back in Season 2. It's just that Maul changed the invading force Death Watch would "liberate" Mandalore from from the 501st to the Shadow Collective. Which definitely worked out a lot better.
Jango was the coolest dude in the galaxy, and I will die on this hill. Just a simple man, making his way through the universe :D
What I like about Pre Vizsla is that he is a really good politician as we see in the first Mandalorian arc of the clone wars and later the founding of the shadow collective with Maul. His weakness is that he is not a good military leader who acts brashly and impulsively, for example when he and death Watch slaughter that village from a strategic perspective it was pretty stupid move on Pre Vizsla's part by allowing a son of Senator watching the damn thing ruined potential alliance that could have take down Dooku or given enough resources for his takeover of Mandalore since like i said Lux was a son of senator who is wealthy regardless it was a stupid move on Pre Vizsla's for making Lux watching the atrocity ruining everything!
not disney, filoni just weirdly forgot
Oh, yes! The dude that executed one of his men for failing but didn't honorably end his own life when HE himself failed!
How did he fail and how would that happen? I mean he got his head choped off. Can you explain please I want to understand your point
"What you might not know, is that Death Watch didn't originated from Star Wars: Clone Wars". I am in this battle since 11 years old!
7:36 this is why they were the bad guys, they held onto to the past and cared more about strength and authority more than morals, loyalty, and hour
Honour
You understand nothing about war. You're making arbitrary exceptions.
You forgot to add Boo Karen on the list of evil mandalorians she was deathwatch until Maul killed her boss.
@@regularguy2807I get where you're coming from, as the other comment said, she did terrible choices and is more nuanced than good or bad.
*Disappointed Kal Skirata, Jester Mereel and Fenn Shysa noises*
Pre Viszla is like my favorite character
Best clan makes the best warriors
Paz's name should have been "Post-Visla"
Long live Jaster Mereel and the Supercommando Codex
I’m surprised you guys aren’t talking about anything lore related in the Ashoka show.
This is the way
The Senate had an even HARSHER culture.
Their lore is cool, that's all there is to it.
I think Gar Saxon held this brutal mentality to the very end.
Many did, Victory or death after all
probably one of the worst decisions was trying to repaint Bo Kotan as anything other than a villain.
Exactly what I was thinking. She isn't one of my favorite characters and I think there's someone out there actually suitable to lead Mandalore.
So true.@@jefftheindianchief8279
Don't forget the fact that Bo-Katan was being a racist towarded Maul as well.
I hate how star wars producers are trying to shove the idea down our throats that bo deserves to rule mandalore. She should be the last person to rule mandalore
Can't wait for the Post Vizla arc
Karen traviss will always have the best written mando culture.
I would say the deception was more of Maul's plan over Vizla's own plan
I think youre getting tarre confused with tor vizsla, Tarre vizsla was around a few hudndred years before death watch, the true mandalorians and the new mandalorians were even formed.
Pre Vizsla, as a village burns at his command: "Never let the weak tell you what to do. Welcome to Death Watch!"
I’ve been thinking lately just how devastating Pre Viszla would have been if he was force sensitive and learned how to fight with the force through his ancestor, Tar Viszla’s writings as a mandalorian jedi.
I mean it all depends on your point of view of the way of the mandalor.
Without knights of the old republic the mandos be nothing. Kotor made the mandos and how actually bad and cruel they were.
Between the Republic committed ethnocide against the Mandalorians and the genocide committed against them by the Empire, which one is the one they deserved more? At this point, I just don't know anymore. Are all Mandalorians evil and do all Mandalorians deserved to die or not?
Very well done.
Based!
"Might makes right" may get you leaders like Din Djarin once in a while, but it also makes leaders like Pre Viszla inevitable.
Take a look at any outsider who struggles against oppression or injustice and you will see someone with the body of an aruetii, but the soul of a Mando'ad.” - Jango Fett, on his decision to incorporate non-Mandalorian drill sergeants into the Cuy'val Dar
Overall keep developing out your Mandalorian videos and do indeed capture the darker realities but get into more of the details as you do have an unfortunate habit looking at one lens than the full scale.
This. This! THIS!
The Jedi, before they served the Republic.
This is why Satine wanted Mandalore to be a peaceful, and I prefer the True Warriors and they were noble, honorable, and loyal to a cause.
They not going to like this one.
I talk a lot of shit about the Mandalorians, but I love and respect the old ways. Despite how abhorrent it is. I’d rather the Mandalorians be shown following the old ways, it just makes more sense. The more ‘honorable’ Mandalorian they go for now just doesnt feel right or very sincere to me
Death Watch fanboy

No wonder the Mandos and Sith are besties.
....So I'm not gonna lie, but I think Pre Viszla was a neccesary evil, imagine how bad Mandalore would have been if they were still a pacifist regime when Palpatine or whichever of his Grand Moffs, turned his eye on ripping all the beskar from Mandalore that he could.
I think they would have never been purged if they were still pacifist.
Jango was a neutral character that was manipulated by Count Dooku.
In a way he kind of achieved his goal
He does have the SS man look
Im safely going to assume that tor vizslas death watch faction was worse than pre vizslas faction
They're basically the Klingons from Star Trek, down to the change in characterization
Pre Viszla the typical evil Mandalorian
A blight to that name.
...My Legends-verse fellow operatives unfortunately don't know this guy. Moving along.
In a mostly connected sidenote, Kal Skirata is one terrible father figure.
I see the more recent mandalorians not good or bad and still the same as they have always been but they are just recovering so maybe in the future we might see mandalorians being more brutal once they have increased their numbers
So thats the reason why the jedi and the sith alike have to contend with them.
👍👍👍👍👍

As he did. For them, honor is merely a platitude and we know this by him talking about massacring the defenseless.
👍
I hate to disagree, but I do. The Resolnare is the dictating force behind the Mandalorians. Part of the was community. Living the lifestyle, raising your children in it, respecting traditions and your superiors. The Mandalorians were neither good, nor bad, light not dark; like most of the galaxy. Did they do horrible things in the passed? Sure. So did the Empire and The Republic. The Mandos are just people.
I wouldnt say jango and boba where bad guyabthey where just making money at what they where good at
Ah that thumbnail. Failure....
There is nothing wrong with mando wanting peace, especially with grogu around. Only problem is, his religion is literally weapons and combat. Not a great situation to be a guardian to a baby jedi.
I would have said "an image of idiots" but okey
I enjoyed when Satine died 🎉
Her pacifist ways died with her, and the return to beskar and Jetpack returned
@@rennac3152 Exactly.
Thing is legends don’t really do the Mandalorians justice portraying them as just blood thirsty conquerors with nothing admirable about them
so I thing the mandalorian was a way to compensate and show they do have honor and admirable qualities self improvement taking on harsh challenges devotion to family clan solidarity the warrior way of the mandalroe.
The thing is as much as I disagree with the dishonorable conduct of death watch they did have a point about the new mandalorians they were weak essentially Republic puppets reliant on the support of the senate and Jedi that made mandalorian loose their culture their pride and self respect.
warrior culture sure, but they always been hot headed and ideological in their depiction, a stark contrast to the peacefull ideological Jedi

I see him as Dar'Manda -- a cosplayer. Pre is an abomination and doesn't deserve the honor of being a Vizla... Shae would be disgusted by him.
Disney never should've gotten their hands on Star Wars.
Agreed. Warrior culture is rarely idealist.
1st comment!!!!
