A couple of other 'uses'... I spray non-deluded/straight Pine-Sol all along the foundation and five or six inches of the ground around the foundation and it keeps ants out of your house. We always had issues with black ants, but in the last couple of years I have sprayed a few times during that season (April-October here in the Northeast) and no more ants. It also keeps the chipmunks, mice and squirrels out of mulch beds and away from the house. We always had mice issues as well, but not since I've been doing this in the last couple of years.

Actually if you go to the website it will tell you. It does not disinfect when diluted. You have to use it as is in bottle for disinfecting. It will make your sheets and towels smell clean but does not disinfect them in the wash, I mix with water and spray sparingly on my carpet areas for a long lasting clean fresh smell.

Do not use Pine-Sol on or in your garbage cans if you live where bears are known to raid? Bears like the smell of pine. Use ammonia and that will also help ( not 100% ), to keep other animals, as well as bears , out of your garbage. The best answered is a bear proof garbage bin with added electric unwelcome mats.
Keeps insects away too! I get a spray bottle use one part pine sol and two parts water and spray and wipe my windowciles and around my door and spray and mop my floors. No ants no spiders just amazing how well it works 👍🏽 I don’t have any pets.

Pine sol is great stuff! I also put citrus peels in a jar full of vinegar; just discovered the fruit flies don't congregate where I've cleaned with it.
Not really sold on the pine-sol smell but boy does it work for cleaning and deodorizing! I use the Original for its disinfecting properties and the wonderful way it cleans without damaging many surfaces. I have tried the other Pine-Sol fragrances but always come back to the Original.

I sprayed a giant waterbug that came out of my shower drain with Pinesol, let him soak it in for a minute or two, then rinsed him back down with Pinesol. I have a pond out back and waterbugs seem to get inside every now and then and they look like giant roaches. I once had a moth fly in my house and I thought it was a bird. My cat went crazy trying to catch it and I was swinging an empty 2 liter Pepsi bottle like a bat trying to hit him.. I finally smacked him and went over to look and it was the biggest moth I had ever seen. It was scary looking. It's eyes were like holograms that changed colors in the light. That sucker was the size of 2 of my hands. I grabbed him up with some pliers and threw him outside and he flew away. He was still alive

There is no pine oil in today's original pinesol sold in most retail stores. The original commercial pinesol does contain pineoil.. You must order that online as they no longer sell this version retail.

I am 42 years old by the way, and even though I am an American, my mum used it on the floor but I recently found spray bottling it to my studio flat floor is best in order to clean the floor without getting it into my cat´s water bowl and food dish.

does the bottles have a seal underneath the cap on the bottle? i just bought a bottle at the store and i opened it and there was no tin foil seal on the underside. i dont know much about pine sol but i do know other chemical cleaners have a seal.... please help
I wish I could remember for sure. I don't think it did, but I'm not 100% sure. I did another for fun video about Pine-Sol and the first thing I did was pop off the lid. I just don't remember if I had to remove a seal first. I'll pay attention next time and let you know or you can check in the store to see if there's a seal. It seems like there would be. I use 20% pine-sol 80% water solution to soak anything that can be soaked in water that has mildew gets smell out and with a bit of scrubbing gets rid of mildew stain as well

Pine oil from the nuts can be a cooking oil. Pine oil from the needles is the same oil as in pure pine essential oil. Bearing that in mind, there are different types of pine trees.
I let my mother talk me into buying the lemon scent... She tried to tell me the original smelled like old people. I love the pine scent! However, I settled for the lemon one... I will be buying the original one next time I'm at the store. Especially since the lemon doesn't disinfect like the original. We'll just have to start keeping both on hand. Pine oil causes respiratory issues in many types of small animals, such as my bunny, so I won't be using the original near him. However... it should be just fine around the cat and dog.

It's my favorite floor cleaner. I like that it can work as pre-wash for stains and will try that on my next load. I'll also try it on the plants outside the front door. Cats sometimes spray them and they reek for months. I'd MUCH rather smell PineSol.

I have used Pine Sol in my families laundry for years! We love it.
There is nothing else better than Pinesol The smell is heavenly, and it disinfects. I only use Pinesol.
PineSol uses less oil now. dr Bronner’s Sal Suds is very close to the original PineSol.

I saw a stinkbug walking around on my screen door the other day and I sprayed him with Pinesol. He flew away and probably died.
I use it for everything. It's my counter spray in the kitchen. I mop with it. I put it in my carpet shampooer. I swear by it.

I put pine soil in the bleach compartment of my washer. Amazing fragrance on the clothes and in the house.
You can use dish soap and water on wasps. It creates a layer over their exoskeleton and suffocates them.
It's great for clothes washing. I usenit for prerinse,and I swear things come out cleaner than bleached. And it's safe for colours and he appliances.

Not for the yellow caps sometimes. The white caps almost always have a seal

PineSol doesn’t disinfect at all, when diluted…. In order to disinfect, it should be used 100% undiluted (or “neat” as some call it). 😁
Pssst, please ask Pine Sol company to put Pine Oil back into Pine Sol.

I’m allergic to pine trees every time I SMELL PINESOL I FEEL SICK AND GET A HEADACHE I wish it wasn’t that way is there something else that would do as good a job and not have the pine smell

It's my favorite floor cleaner. I like that it can work as pre-wash for stains and will try that on my next load. I'll also try it on the plants outside the front door. Cats sometimes spray them and they reek for months. I'd MUCH rather smell PineSol.
Cleaning solutions may smell "good", but that's just a masking agent to cover up the vapors from the noxious chemicals. When I use these powerful cleaning chemicals, and that is what they are, I open the windows and wear an N95 mask.

Because it was said by the president at the time of this video. People thought it could cure Covid. Clorox had prominent warnings on their website not to drink bleach.
