I'm having a similar issue. First, the end of the thick cable that attached to the right speaker casing was loosened, but it's been still working fine for a long time. Recently I even tied it to the casing in a way not to be pulled accidentally and damage the wire joints inside. But because of another problem (subwoofer was not working time to time) I'd to use an electronic cleaner (someone with a similar problem had suggested) on the d-sub joints on the sub. Now since then the speaker system ended up not making any proper sound at all but only a noise. I suspect two things, 1- I plugged the d-sub in and turned the speakers on too soon before the liquid fully dried and that might have caused some damage (or not damaged yet hopefully but it's causing a short circuit). 2- Although I'd tied the loose end of the thick cable as earlier mentioned it pulled a bit during this cleaning operation and that might have cased a wire to be loosen inside. I'll wait few hours and try again.
I have the logitech with the separate controller from the speakers. I have no sound but i know its the controller because I bought another used complete set and the subwoofer and speakers work with my original controller its the 2nd controller that ain't working, not sure how to diagnose the no sound. And the power button does turn the power on the controller.
Since you have a hot air setup you could just order a new amp chip on ebay for a few dollars. Its easy to find the correct one by just looking up the part number on the chip itself. .
hey my right control satellite speaker doesn't have marking volume and bass, should i be concerned, because i look online and every set of speakers have it but mine doesn't i bought it from amazon brand new 1 year ago
Something similar happened with me and my Z625 was not working on my HP laptop since day one but when I tested it on my Samsung phone It was working great. So I have reinstalled my sound driver and it worked for me :)
currently got one logitech Z623 woofer with new electronic but no power or sound unabled to determine which part is bad need help and will post whatever I find bad or brings back the sound and power? do need help here too.
I am facing the same problem, Is there any update how to fix the same, I tried to replace the sound IC and Power Mosfet as well but it doesn't work. Because it is now possible that the electronics devices or motherboards can't be repaired and in this case there is nothing to hard to find out the problem but I have less experience as I am a electronics student as well , I don't know how to check it with multi-meter step by step I will try to do so but if you have and idea then please help me .
was hoping for a solution here cuz it's exactly what i'm hearing. I turn my right speaker on and i hear this "click" if i turn either volume knob or the bass one it starts making weird sounds, like clicking through the speaker and bass. Thing is I have no idea what caused this, i've had this set for like 4 years and after moving my table from one corner to another one day, the speakers just decided they will not work anymore. I had this thick right speaker wire a bit pulled out, but it didn't actually make any problems before either. after moving the table I just plugged them back in and it "clicked", then - white noise. ever since it just does that. What a bummer, I was enjoying those speakers so much... now it's just a waste of space. I'll just get a good set that doesn't have built-in amp or controls in the speakers themselves next time.

I had no sound in left speaker, the first thing to try look is at the connector for the speaker that has no sound, squeeze the connector inwards so it makes harder contact with the output on the subwoofer amplifier board, the connector is loose and making poor conect with the amplifier output connection. if that doesn't fix it than you must unscrew the amplifier board and check for loose capacitors, you must reflow the solder because the capacitor solder joint has broken loose and is making poor contact
I just got this and the subwoofer barely works. Turning the volume all the way up on the speakers and the speakers are adequate. Unimpressed with the sub.
How did you diagnose the amplifier? I have mine apart. Solder and wire connections look good. I'm not sure where to test with a multimeter. The speakers make an initial pop when powered on, but that's it. Same when I connect the left speaker to the TV directly on a left right rca output. Stool no sound though in assuming they are getting power.
a mi me pasa lo mismo, estuve probando los mosfet pero segun yo estan bien, cuando conecto el altavoz a la corriente, el altavoz no tiene voltaje, ambas bocinas funcionan bien pero el woofer no jalal
Mine plays music from my phone and played sound through a pc screen but when I tried to hook it up to my new Kogan smart tv it only has interference sounds. I didn’t have any aux cables connected before and it still played sound but it no longer does my Xbox one s would do it automatically . Any help?
Hi, Logitech Z623 vga cable is broken. There are 15 colored cables inside the cable. Do you know which part of the cables come to the VGA end? I would be glad if you could help.
My problem is that I do not have a subwoofer. My speakers are very old, maybe 5 years old. I never got a subwoofer, and I'm thinking that the only thing I can do is buy a new set of speakers, with a subwoofer. Honestly, I'm not sure if I could just get a subwoofer, as my speakers are very old. Please tell me if there is a fix or if I should buy new speakers completely. (No, I do not know the model of the speakers, only the brand Logitech)
Firstly, my logitech is the Z506 and currently the issue i have is. The main speaker control (right) makes a clicking/buzz noise every 5 seconds and then stops. It's only coming out of this speaker and it's very minute but of course annoying. The sound persists if I plug my headphone into it. Any ideas what this might be or what actions I should take? I read that it could be too much power going into the unit and that's it's distorting the sound. I'm lost and have no idea how to pursue this.
I have 623. My speakers work fine but no bass at all. It did crackle bad before it went off. Sub looks ok so i bought another sub. Im going to wire up the subs together and try it. Not wasting a sub and subbox

Mine sounds okay from the speakers, but there is weak sound from one earbud (or side of headphone) and NO SOUND from the other. Does Logitech do ANY QC???
I've got this system also, they are awesome speakers but they go bad easily after 9 to 10 months. I've replaced them in warranty 2 times and each time they gone bad. Logitech needs to fix this for the sake of how good these speakers are. Anyway I've found this video might help you ua-cam.com/video/Ehs_tnV9jsw/v-deo.html
sick listening to this video on my logitech z623 that i cant hear out of
Im watching with no sound.

You look like an expert on 623. My L & R speakers are working, but woofer is completely off, what could be the problem?

Mine does not turn on... might be some of the components burned, I do not know. Help!
the p[roblem is in the rotary power knob, it's dirty contacts, must be taken apart to clean contacts
