The incident with the dog could have been very easily avoided by KEEPING THE DOG ON A LEASH! It's not that hard. Great ride and insights though, love these kind of videos.
This is THE most interesting cross country round I have seen on youtube - all the info about what Sam was thinking and how he felt Talisman was going. So interesting - Also crazy loose dog drama - so glad no on was hurt by that ..
Owner of the dog should be charged, happy to see that this incident didn’t affect the ride it could have ended very bad
Horse/Rider could have been hurt by that dog... not right... Great ride!
The dog could've died from the horse kicking it as well. Irresponsible owner, risking the life of their pet for nothing. Dogs need to be kept leashed for their own safety as well as the horses and riders.
Gosh he so loves it. Fantastic
What a fantastic ride! 🏇🏻 It is so good to see how you and Talisman take care of each other. You have a great partnership!🥰 It was a pleasure to watch!
Go Sam, Go! Great ride on a horse with a bright future. That was fun to watch.
Sam AMAZING Ride and Talisman is awesome! What a great happy attitude that horse has. :-D
Well run well done. Horse and Sam answered all the questions!
I am always amazed and exhaust after vicariously watching one of these! Wonderful example of a great horse and rider in the ultimate show of trust. WoW!!!
That is so insanely dangerous. Dog, horse and rider could've been killed. I saw the same thing happen at an event years ago, and it did not end well. Fine the owner.
You carried each other through the course. Well done the both of you.
I hope that dog owner gets banned from going to shows like this if they let their dog run free again. If it's accidental then okay but if it repeats then they should be kept on leash or suspended from other competitions.
@@elleb6019 Exactly! And it would be so unfair on Sam if he had to retire from cross country if Talisman spooked and lost focus or Sam would take a tumble
I think dogs should to be leashed at all times during competitions like this. Then it's highly unlikely something like this happens at all.
Great round!
Great video! I would have sworn up a storm over that dog.
This is such an informative and cool video! Would love to see more of these!!
I'm never comfortable with the dogs & the lack of concern from their owners.
haaaaaaaa........i love the dog!
you guys are awesome!
Φανταστικά!
How ashamed would you feel if you were the owner of that dog!
How ashamed would that dog owner had been if the horse had literally trampled or kicked it to death? That dog owner should be ashamed. Dogs on course must be on leash. For everyone's safety.
Forever a cat person and this is exactly why. The rider and horse handled that amazingly, the owner shouldn't have brought that dog, if they had the dog it should've obviously been leashed
Several minutes in and you finally say it is now getting intense? Geez, I fell out of my recliner twice already! And the arm rests are permanently hand printed! Are you kidding? I want OFF~
How far did the horse run?
what a GOOD BOI this horse. Happy, happy ears pricked.
Dumb dog, it could have been easily killed if one metal shod hoof had bounced off its head.
DOGS do not belong wandering on the course under the horses' feet. That is so dangerous to the dog, the rider, the horse and potentially other spectators. Shame on the dog owner. IF you are going to a horse show, leave the dog at home if possible. Otherwise - KEEP IT ON A LEASH! At all times. smfh. :-/
