I noticed that the last 10 minutes of the video appear corrupted, especially the very end which is supposed to show the final cutscenes and not just be a black screen. I did reach out to UA-cam support to see if they can fix it.
This game too has plagued my existence my whole life because I love all these characters so very much, and I even really like the design of this game far as how it looks & sounds, but dear lord I cant even beat Juggernaut in Wolverines level
I eventually managed to beat this game as an adult. The spiderman, storm, and wolverine levels i could do pretty efficiently but cyclops and gambit both gave me fits, to whwre I'd play them first because i knew i could beat the others if i got past those
That cyclops stage is brutal. Storm stage even worse! I remember I got this game and I thought my parents hated me because this game was sooooo hard. I was never able to beat it.
I remember playing this! I almost defeated the game too, even though I was getting frustrated with it. I had a problem with the Storm level but got past it. I had to play the game a number of times in order to know how to past each level, but I eventually did. I just stopped playing it for a while cause I was getting too mad....lol But the game was fun to play.
@@thatgameoverguy lol..I really don't blame you one bit for that. I have the NSO subscription and I have played just about what they have in the library of the consoles I have owned. Every single game I have played was frustrating but it's also fun cause it brings back the nostalgic times for me while growing up.
@@robertfalkenberg Nostalgia is definitely a huge part of the entertainment value with these older games, but I think it's also more engaging to feel that level of (fair) challenge. Some games, like this one, went too hard, but a lot of those older games were more fair with an acceptable learning curve. Either way, it's a lot of fun replaying these classic games from our youth.
It took me like 2 days off running from the juggernaut till I realized you had to kill him I would always try but he would always kill me before ai killed him. I was so pissed as a kid when I realized you had to kill him lol good times.
That's my biggest gripe with this game, some parts are weirdly cryptic. You have to fight juggernaut in just the right way, and drop as much on his head as possible to actually drop his HP enough to kill him before you reach the end. That level drove me absolutely nuts. In the end I had to look up online how to do it! 😂

It is legitimately one of the hardest games I've ever played. It took a lot not to just to quit and say "no, I cannot beat this game" 😂

That is a great strategy. The cyclops and gambit stages are ridiculous!

Hahahaha! That's harsh, I just thought Marvel was sadistic!

You're right, it is fun, but also incredibly frustrating. I almost didn't even finish this video!

as soon as i heard the opening title i knew it was Tim Follin... you buy a banger of an album and get a game with it ! this mans music is under ratted
So much video game music goes unnoticed and under appreciated and it's a shame. IMO this is one that needs a vinyl release.
*Follin :) He's a master.
@@Rockjesu 100% agree!
That game was ridiculously hard, the gambit levels were my favourite because it's such a blood pumping song!!!!
It is! The fast pace and that great pounding music are a stellar combination!
Man this game was tough when i was the kid.
It is UNREASONABLY tough! 🤣
@@thatgameoverguy I would get so frustrated playing this game that I never beat it lol I broke so many controllers playing this game lol.
@@Wair18 LMAO, i get that. That's how I felt after renting it as a kid. I didn't play it again until I was in my 20's.

I had to stop when I heard his pronunciation of linear like "la-neer"
Regional dialects, eh? I get that way too.
I had toy story too but I never beat it.
I loved Toy Story. I played it so much I did eventually beat it. I had the Sega Genesis version, though.
Your voice sounds like mr obvious
I think my voice sounds like I'm still stuck in puberty. 😂
I had this game and didn't beat it.
Seems like that's the norm. It was unreasonably hard and unfair.
