the most important question we often miss is how do we fight? Its easy to say on camera about equality or join a candle march in support of it but how to adapt it in real life still remains a feat. There are certain inequalities that society taught me and no matter how much I support gender equality I doubt if I may act unbiased when put in such situations.
It's actually a powerful advantage because of her worldwide reputation. People will listen just because it's her, adding to her influence and awareness of those less interested in politics. Well, IMO.
Men and women are *not* the same, not at all. They are made wonderfully different by the Lord God, to complement one another, to fulfill different roles, with the husband lovingly leading his wife, this is shown all throughout the Bible to be an illustration of higher things: glorifying Christ and His church (see Ephesians 5). The love between a man and woman is truly divine, that is not just some cliche, it is from the Word of God! Obviously, none of us agree with sexual oppression, abuse, or dictatorship (the kind of thing seen in Islam), but that does not call for a complete and total abolition of all that is considered male and female. It does not call for a complete abandonment of "masculine" and "feminine", for men and women to be regarded as completely interchangeable beings-mentally and spiritually alike, asexual in every way. The Bible says we are *not* alike, but that man was made first and woman was made *from* man, *for* man-not to be some kind of slave, but neither to be like "another man". God has placed differences in the hearts of men and women, which is why all over the world across all cultures we see men with shorter hair and women with longer hair, as well as many other common expressions of these differences. These things are not just "fashion", they reflect our spiritual condition, and in fact prove that we are not just physical beings but have a spiritual dimension (1 Corinthians 11 speaks about this). If you are a feminist, you are doing the work of Satan-who wants to destroy manhood and womanhood. Satan wants to subvert gender, and he is cunning and devious, promoting his agenda under false banners. It it is not really about "equal rights" at all. There has always been "equal rights", and throughout history women have always been free to have careers (wherever physically possible, though raising children has traditionally been a full-time career in itself). Feminism is not really about "rights" at all, but rather this is a spiritual battle, about the destruction of God's order. Like all feminist agendas, Emma Watson's speech is designed to confuse people, mixing the issue in with a bunch of other different issues such as wage differences or sexual exploitation. Obviously, no one agrees with sexual exploitation-those issues just are thrown in to win people over and gain sympathy, to get people applauding. But at its core, the message here is quite evil. This is the message that is really being promoted here: "The difference between man and woman is only outward. Let's destroy manhood! Let's destroy womanhood! Let's rebel against God the creator, tearing down what He has established, defiling all that is sacred." It goes hand in hand with gay marriage and women pastors. It is an affront to God the creator, who made us male and female. It is wholly evil, the result of an increasingly godless society. This is why increasingly now we are seeing man-bashing and female superiority everywhere, as the natural conclusion of feminism. Romans 1:28 "And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done …Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them."
Betya that between this being made and me typing this 3X times the number of men committed suicide then the boys who joined HeforShe. I'll stick to egalitarianism. Feminism should stay SheForShe. But good job either way. :)
She’s amazing!
