@@MeeshDeeReactscan you guys do 1 to 2 or 3 episodes in a video? Because i'm re-watching the series from you're videos✨. But it is so little by little and waiting for the next video for single episode is making me sad😕. But other than that everything is so good. Oh and also if I'm wrong for saying this then I'm so so so sorry 🥲🙏
0:50 “Why did his scar change?” In the battle with the Hands Demon, he got thrown into a tree and had a head injury right where his old scar was. In the previous episode, his forehead was bandaged the whole time. 13:38 Although the subs have Urokodaki saying that he cast a “hypnotic suggestion,” that’s not what he really said. He said he cast a (magic) spell. “Anji” means “spell.” “Hypnosis” is “saimin jutsu.” 15:44 The manga is a “shonen” or “boys” target range. Both adults and older children enjoy this manga and show. You could consider it PG-13. It’s why the first Demon Slayer movie became the biggest box office record holder of all time in Japan (because families went to see it together, as opposed to just adults). You can kinda judge an anime’s audience age level based on its time slot on TV. Shows like “Pokemon” and “Fairy Tail” are shown on Saturday mornings, while shows like “Detective Conan,” which has themes of murder, is shown around 5:30 pm. “Demon Slayer” is shown near midnight, so it’s not meant for little kiddies. Shows heavy into fan service (partial nudity or sexy scenes) or ultra violence are shown after midnight.
that's an strange translation... "anji" does mean "suggestion" not "spell", so the subs are fine imo. i don't see the problem with translating it as "hypnotic suggestion". like, ofc is not exactly the same as "saimin", but it conveys a similar meaning to what Urokodaki said. translating it as "spell" make it sound like Urokodaki is doing magic on Nezuko xd
@ The thing is, in a later episode, the subs have it as “spell” and in another episode, it’s back to “hypnotic suggestion.” I think they are using a team of translators and the editor is not catching the differences which leads to these inconsistencies. And a certain demon later on actually uses hypnotic techniques, and says “saimin jutsu.” And though they’re doing a great job, time-wise, in providing these translations to allow the release of the anime episodes the same time (and sometimes faster) than in Japan, some of the translations are not the most accurate and sometimes downright misleading… Demon Slayer is guilty of a few of these. In this episode, for example, they say a swordsman is accompanying a demon, but they should have said it the other way around… a demon is accompanying a swordsman.
@@wrexgrafix84 yeah, i agree. subs can be inconsistent sometimes, and DS does that too. i just meant that this specific translation was fine imo. "anji" literally means "suggestion" and "anji wo kakeru", the verb Urokodaki used (but in past tense), is similar to what we understand for "hypnotic suggestion". again, translating it as "spell" sounds like Urokodaki is a wizard xd like, i would expect you (or anyone) making the correction in that ep where they translate it as "spell", but not here saying that it should be "spell" xd dunno seems odd to me xd but yeah, i mostly agree with you.
@ LOL, of course the PG13 rating is not the only reason… “Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha” was a damned good movie. But what I’m saying is that it’s hard to be number one in the box office if you limit the audience, such as with a rated R movie. Prior to “Demon Slayer Mugen Train” being number one, it was Studio Ghibli’s “Spirited Away / Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi” and before that, it was “Titanic.”
Just a little fyi since I haven't seen anyone else comment this, but they mentioned in an earlier episode that the Demon Slayer Corps isn't officially recognized by the government so people don't really know what Demon Slayers are, they're more like myths kind of. Anyway I hope this helps clear up some confusion as to why some people seem confused by what Tanjiro does, thanks for the reactions please keep them coming because this is one of my favorite animes!! 🫰🏻🙂↕️
@@MeeshDeeReacts Just to further clarify, the Mugen Train movie was adapted into episodes 27 - 33 (the first 7 episodes of season 2), so you can chose to watch the movie or watch the episodes.
season 1 is very introducing so its building up rn and you'll grow to love it more as it goes on. that's how I felt. and animes can be dark as there are different genres and stuff
Another UA-camrs that I added to my watchlist. Watching your reaction guys are entertaining. Waiting for every update since episode 1 reaction. Enjoy the series guys. ❤️
Always here for a new release from your channel 🎉🎉🎉 (also i keep forgetting this is your very first anime series! happy to know that one of the good ones is your intro to the genre. If I could add another amazing series for your consideration: Frieren, Beyond Journeys End, and be sure to watch the first four episodes altogether kind of like a movie)
I'm trying to sleep constantly, hate the sun, and don't eat people... 🤔 That solves it! I'm a demon. 😈 After watching the bit at the end where you talk about the demons age preference this episode i recend my demon admittance. 😂 🙈
The way I saw it is that the demons portray sins not perverts. But I can't go deeper into that perspective yet haha. I like to talk about it when you're further in story :D
2:22 Demons don't need to breathe - they're undead, silly 🤭 3:45 Sister, lover, what's the diff, it's anime 🤣 11:06 Younger girls = fresh virgin blood, older girls = impure tainted blood 😁 15:22 The original Demon Slayer manga was published on *_"Weekly Shonen Jump"_* magazine targeted at young teen males (same as Dragon Ball, One Piece, Death Note) 🤗
Each demon has their own preference in what kind of human that they eat. Some demons only eat males while others prefer woman, some prefer older, some like younger, and some demons only go after certain blood types. Such as in this episode, this demon like to eat girls right after they turn 16 years of age.
Just a reminder - demons cannot go in the sunlight not even a peek. So Nezuko would burn up if she poked her head out of the box. She also can't eat or even taste any human/blood or they'll have to kill her. - demon slayers are not recognised as barely anyone knows about demons or demon slayers. So to then Tanjiro is a random kid with a sword sniffing the ground.
u 'guys are assuming waay too many things :) why assume the girl is the dude's sister? why assume a regular smo citizen would know what a demon slayer looks like or even is :P
Just so you know the girl that disappeared was Kazumi’s fiancee not his sister and the person beating him up was the girls father
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Got to love the anime "oh the episode is over already." 😢
Goes by so quickly ! 😭

Definitely don’t think it’s fair to say that the reason the movie broke records was because it was PG-13, lol.

I love that last line by Urokodaki. Gives me chills and almost makes me cry. So powerful.

Most anime is ever meant for children. There's tons of tropes and life lessons that are designed for teen or adult audiences.

I have so many spoilers 😂😂wanna spoil but won't
