It's a great video, but it's not as easy as shown. You have to manually forward ports in the VPS. Hostinger support did send me a guide on how to do it in Linux, and they were pretty fast to respond. Also,, just so you know, the VPS has a transfer limit after that limit you have to pay for bandwidth. AND when creating your instance make sure you assign enough memory for the . The more mods the more memory you will need.
I have a few questions i couldn't find on the docs: - Will i have full SHH root access to configure the server with specific stuff however i like, or i'm restricted to game pannels options? - I already host Minecraft server on a regular VPS KVM4 from Hostinger, what is the advantage of the specific one for minecraft ? - Are the vCPUs shared or dedicated? - Is it allowed to use a game panel VPS to other purposes? Let's say i'm not using it for game servers, it is just there idling, can i use it to temporarily host a database or website for example, or would that be against terms of use? - does the VPS support installing a Linux OS without the game panel? let's say i do want minecraft, but i want to roll my own things via terminal instead of using the admin panel for example, is that allowed and possible?

I have issues when it comes to the server types. I am trying to make a minecraft server which can accomodate pirated Minecraft versions which I was able to do by using the instance application "Java edition" and "Official" server type. Unfortunately I have been struggling to get plugins to work so I changed the server type to "Paper". To my surprise, the server refuses to start I presume because of the incompatibility between instance "Java edition" and "Paper". How do I fix this?

Hey i just paid 12€ to get a minecraft server. It doesn't works because when i add mods in the mods folder, the upload time is slow asf (from 7KB/s to 202B/s). I know you probably don't care but your website is the only one i had troubles with uploading mods. Your servers are more expensive than my actual host and it didn't even work.

Some things you can do to fix this error are to check if all permissions are correct (both the system and yours as the operator), make sure the server proprieties are set up to allow the console, check if the firewall isn't blocking your access, investigate any plugins or mods that you might have and update the software🙏

This way, you won’t have to rebuild everything you’ve built while playing alone in “another world.” To download the world, you’ll need to access your server’s files and locate the world folder. From there, you can download the world folder to your local machine. Once downloaded, you can open the world in your single-player Minecraft game and continue playing from where you left off.

Hey i just paid 12€ to get a minecraft server. It doesn't works because when i add mods in the mods folder, the upload time is slow asf (from 7KB/s to 202B/s). That's crazy, i have never seen a connection that slow. My connection is normal so i don't think that's the problem. That's a bad experience i'm just tryna launch my server but it doesn' works.

@@HostingerAcademy too late, your support wasn't helpful at all, it was barely traduced in my language and his advices were useless. I did a refund and went to another hosting site (which works!). I know you probably don't care but your website is the only one i had troubles with uploading mods. Your servers are more expensive than my actual host and it didn't even work.
