I screwed this up on my first playthrough. I aimed a gun at the father and they started going ape shit on me. Everytime I went back to help they were hostile towards me, and I never got to complete the storyline.
Same thing. But they eventually asked me for money. And I didn’t have enough. Then later I ended up lassoing the woman and killed the guy in the house. Never saw the dons again. I’m on chapter 4
I’m on my third play through and after I killed the guys attacking him the father must’ve glitched, the game said I was trespassing and he started shooting at me so I had to shoot him Was looking forward to this part of the game as well 😪
It’s cool too bc you can come back as John after Arthur’s death and there’s a couple there..I’ve done some horrible things in that house as John. You could also see the couple there as Arthur too I think but it’s like right at the very end before he dies

I remember getting this encounter but the dad told me to help them by going to a lodge camp and borrow a wagon full of wood to them, i ended up helping them but when i came back as john i found the house was complete

You can also go to appleseed for wood to help father,you can either still some wood loaded wagon or help the manager in the appleseed ,kill the wolves sell some product to get profit and in the end he will let you take one.if you steal you will lose honor then you can deliver the wagon to father
At the scene where they got attacked i tried to help but accidentally pointed the gun to one of the sons and yelled "oh no pa!" And I just ran away like nothing happened
I encountered this earlier on in my playthrough, but when I visited they had already been building for a while and needed the money. Maybe them building the house continues throughout the story whether or not you find them?
Everytime I go there, he says the same dialogue. How it’s going slow and calling his sons donkeys 😂. But like never progressing. In a past playthrough he’s asked me for 100 dollars or timber before, but this one, I guess it’s just not happening. I hope you don’t have to complete this mission to get 100% completed walkthrough
Umm so I did everything and when I returned he told me to “leave him and his family alone” and Arthur‘s response was “I was just giving my regards”. Do you or anyone know why??
I swear. when i saw this i gave them the money they wanted. When i came back the house was finished in what i did was i sneak inside the house and killed the people and stole the beer inside the house and drunk it.
I took them out and robbed them right away. Barely constructed place is sitting there wasting away. Threw a few fire bottles on it recently. #AlwaysPlayAsOutlaw
I wished the workers well every encounter and visit Hope the home was cozy for the two who got it, it looks cute and was built by an earnest father and sons duo Got some nice cash by helping pay for supplies #AlwaysPlayAsARedeemer
Dad never asked me to give him $100, until my THIRD playthrough... what? And I swear I went back there a couple times again and again, and never got that interaction. I even started to think this was a second playthrough secret come out. ( I did my first PT on Xbox) now I'm on PC.

Just had a different outcome i did not wish for. Accidentally took out a knife on one of the sons. Pa wanted to throw fists and ended up in the fire … then sons were hunted down. Pretty wild side quest tbh.
Mane I got this dude a cart full of lumber and I saw him after but didn’t collect the money bc I was in the middle of something. Came back a couple missions later and bruh sold the house missed out on my bread

@@AshwinY Yeah, I saw two of those by the butcher after I completed it. I resolved the issue by selling some goods to the Forman at Appleseed, then leaving the area, saving, then reloading. After a few times, the Forman had a load really to sell me. Though I probably could’ve just took it without much issue like you can after the Appleseed side story progresses further.
I'm not getting the appleseed timber mission, every time I go and speak to father he just says work is progressing slowly. I've spent 100+ hours at this point, finished most of challenges and crafted satchels and I'm in chapter 3. Any idea how to trigger it?
How's your honor? I was wondering if this was one those things that don't trigger unless your honor is high enough. Edit: honor does not matter. I just paid them a visit with very low honor and was asked for money.

I believe it’s because we rode too close to him with the bounty hunters or the law on our tail and we screwed the 3rd scene, and the game automatically answered no to giving him the money. So now he just says the molasses up a steep hill line over and over, annoying af
When these guys were getting attacked by some O'Driscolls, they ran away after I helped them. Like a week later when I returned the old guy started shooting at me. Should have let the O'Driscolls kill them.
They somehow died in the shooting and I LOST HONOR. How is that my fault. I wa doing the mission with the dude from black water and just rode off when he was hanging, the borrowed horse got shot and the three dudes died. Lost all my honor in the matter of 3 minutes.

you can reload the file as long you didnt save it at that part

I've seen a guy in the area with a wagon load of logs. If the house builder doesn't take it, you could still bring it to the stagecoach fence.
