Leica riflescope offerings seem a little confusing since they seem to be discontinuing and introducing new models every year or two. How does the Fortis 6 compare to the new Leica Amplus 6? Also where does the Fortis 6 fit in the model range with the new Amplus?
I believe the Fortis is intended to be a higher-end model than the Amplus from my review of the Leica Global website

Fixed parallax? Hmmm
Have you ever tried this scope? It looks awesome but so does the meopta meostar 1.7-10×42 as does the zeiss victory 1.8-14×50. But meopta and leica are much cheaper and more rugged looking to me. So maybe fixed parallax and the lenses it takes to adjust parallax are why they are cheaper
Does the fov and afov complete with the zeiss z6 and v8? Pretty sure all these are more clear than one eye can see in use but afov is nice to have.
What i like is it looks so rugged and without the stulid turrets tnat stick out an inch and a half in all directions like zeiss.
