Hi Ted, I’m Ace’s mom!! Thank you so much for all of your support by showing his mailings on your channel! We really enjoy watching you and he is learning so much about authors now! Thank you so much!! Happy collecting!!
Thank you for your kind words. They mean a lot to me. I’m glad to hear Ace is learning about things beyond the stamps themselves. That’s what makes this hobby so great. It’s a springboard to many other areas of learning.
Not that I am well versed in all the philatelic titles available, but I don’t know of any books dedicated to the subject. I think you would have to look at books written about specific series of stamps, which might include more in-depth discussion about perfs.
Maybe you'll help me: US FDC's keep puzzzling me. Some of them are blank - only stamp and postmark. No artwork whatsoever. Those whiche have any artwork are varied from decent, professional work to something designed by gypsy who took too much acid... Am I right susspecting that USPS issues "blank" FDC's which are later on overprinted by some third party institutions. Or hobbyists?
You are correct. You can buy first day covers from the USPS with no cachets printed on them. Here is the web page for the USPS showing FDCs currently for sale store.usps.com/store/results?Ntt=first+day+covers&_requestid=168994
Thanks for sharing my mail to you. Yeah I am getting into the coils!
Thanks, Chris.

@@tedtalksstamps Another mystery solved! Thanks :)
Thank you very much Ted whose surname shall be non pronounceable
Is he a Voldemort's cousin or something?
It's easy. Pronounce it just the way it looks (as long as you "look" in Polish)🤣
