People love to roast knack but I unironivally bought a ps4 for it because I tried the demo at best buy when I was 6. It was right at the ps4 launch and it was the first game i'd played aside from super mario galaxy 1/2, wii sports, and mario kart wii. It looked graphically amazing. It was garbage, but my dad got lego marvel superheroes too so I was happy.

I still have faith in them since the trailer alone looks like they really built upon most of the current systems instead of big changes, so with all that work done, more can be put onto the enemies/mini bosses/bosses.
I played through this game the other day. I absolutely love everything about this game. The way the score floods into your ears as you overlook the mountains is utterly incredible and unforgettable
It definitely has that Skyrim-effect going for it, where just being in the world is impressive and awe-inspiring. I didn’t like the rigid gear system, wish the bosses were more varied, and that the map wasn’t useless, but it’s still a wonderful game.

Its meh for me, i wouldve really liked it if mimir actually had more than 5 stories, i'd rather just see a loading screen than walk forward for 8 hours, and theres nothing to explore there either

If we consider the last boss a culmination of all the combat you've learned, the Golems and Ogres contributed nearly nothing to preparing for it, and certainly nothing for Valkryies.

I've watched this video dozens of times. Here's why: A few years ago, I was at a bar with a friend of mine. He asked me if I'd ever tried a "pickleback." I told him I hadn't, and he explained what it was to me: whiskey chased with a shot of pickle juice. I thought he was joking at first: I couldn't understand how those two things could POSSIBLY taste good together. But, at his encouragement, I tried it. Both flavors were there; they didn't mix, didn't make sense, but somehow, they worked. Two things that I never suspected would ever belong together somehow complemented one another perfectly. This video is a pickleback. I'm not sure if Dunkey intended it. I imagine that he didn't. The waiting-room-smooth-jazz-cover of "I Can't Take My Eyes off of You" and the violent footage from God of War shouldn't work together. But, like a pickleback, they do. The saxophone brings out, tames, EXPLAINS God of War to a nonbeliever. While the footage from the GotY elevates the silly saxophone into something transcendent, something other... I can't explain the flavor of a pickleback; I can't explain the flavor of this video. But both are equally unlikely and equally unexplainable. I've watched it dozens of times, and I will watch it dozens more. Thanks, Dunkey. You have stumbled upon Art.

I got this game around when it came out. I didn't play it because I was in midst of playing other games. I was cleaning my room and noticed it and thought, "oh I should finally play this game." I'm so disappointed... that I didn't play it sooner. Such an amazing game in mechanics, graphics, and most of all story. One of the only games I've ever platinumed and also got 100% of all collectibles/crows/valkyries/etc. Even went back and beaten in on NG+ on a harder difficulty and did it again. Enjoyed it so much, but wanted to wait until the sequel dropped in price, but after a week since I beat it a second time I broke down and got it. Genuinely great game.

Changing almost everything about the god of war formula could’ve ruined this game but the developers do it perfectly and make this game stand out in the franchise. Just like resident evil 7
SuperGaming Dude You know what i just noticed? Quite a few well established franchises have been totally changing the formula of their games recently and it pretty much only goes two ways: Really good or really shite. There is no middle ground.
Good: Resident Evil 7& God of War
Bad: Metal Gear Survive& Mass Effect: Andromeda

well metal gear survive did bad marketing moves,bad gameplay creation and made themselves the most hated game on the planet...when the gameplay came out,justified all the haters,it is complete garbage,call of duty franchise stuff.
Zelda BoTW and Mario Odyssey were both pretty ground-breaking, and both of those were awesome (though mario was less different I guess)

I got this game around when it came out. I didn't play it because I was in midst of playing other games. I was cleaning my room and noticed it and thought, "oh I should finally play this game." I'm so disappointed... that I didn't play it sooner. Such an amazing game in mechanics, graphics, and most of all story. One of the only games I've ever platinumed and also got 100% of all collectibles/crows/valkyries/etc. Even went back and beaten in on NG+ on a harder difficulty and did it again. Enjoyed it so much, but wanted to wait until the sequel dropped in price, but after a week since I beat it a second time I broke down and got it. Genuinely great game.
