A few years ago I was reading to my four year old students about the first jack 'o lanterns being carved in turnips. So I think it is so interesting to know that you had them as a child. It’s a first come basis to get booked in. By the way I used to travel up to Newcastle a lot for work loved it the people are so friendly.
Absolutely love your floss tubes, congratulations in the stitch finishes just beautiful. Re the Mill Hill, my last one was Believe and was a full ci erage. I ended up gokng through my dmc threads and taking snips to sellotape to a piece of a4 paper. I then added the symbol and the number and used that - so much easier. I love the purple fabric - it might be my eyes but I could swear there were faeries imprinted on it? Keep well and congratulations on 11 years sober ❤💪🤗 best wishes Karen x

The Countryman pattern is lovely but to me, the hay looks like a pile of poo!!!! LOL, Id stitch it without that part. I have a Mill Hill kit as well, I too am struggling with identifying the thread to use hence away I havent done anything else on it!!! I have 3 WIPS now, Remember me pin keep, Buzz Off and Hackstraw Hill - Remember me & Buzz off is getting ALOT of LOVE but Hackstraw isnt so will get this one out this week to give it some love as well. Leaf celebration as I finished Hive Rules on Friday 😊 Due to first time we've had Covid had to cancel going to the Knitting and Stitching Show in London on 6th ☹️ Think I'll be sending for consolation goodies instead!! I'm a fairly neutral gal myself as I like to see the design dominant rather than heavily mottled fabric. However, I did buy some hand-dyed linen at the Festival of Quilts due to seeing it in reality rather than via a picture/on screen. Congratulations on 11 years sober. I find it hard to keep off sweet foods so can't imagine going without forever as keeping my weight down is enough of a daily struggle!
Oh no, hope you’re not too bad with COVID. I’m going to the knitting and stitching show in Harrogate for the first time in November so arranged to take out a second mortgage to fund it 🤣🤣

When I am sorting my Mill Hill kit flosses, I usually get my DMC out and compare to colors in there because the kit lists the DMC numbers.

Leaf celebration as I finished Hive Rules on Friday 😊 Due to first time we've had Covid had to cancel going to the Knitting and Stitching Show in London on 6th ☹️ Think I'll be sending for consolation goodies instead!! I'm a fairly neutral gal myself as I like to see the design dominant rather than heavily mottled fabric. However, I did buy some hand-dyed linen at the Festival of Quilts due to seeing it in reality rather than via a picture/on screen. Congratulations on 11 years sober. I find it hard to keep off sweet foods so can't imagine going without forever as keeping my weight down is enough of a daily struggle!
Oh no, hope you’re not too bad with COVID. I’m going to the knitting and stitching show in Harrogate for the first time in November so arranged to take out a second mortgage to fund it 🤣🤣

FFO was glorgeous🤪. Glad you had a good fortnight off work. Bloody marvellous, 11years abstaining . Any addiction is hard to break. I've tried and failed four times to stop smoking and i only started when i was 49 lol. Great finishes too. You certainly do stitch on a lot of projects. LEAF. I've decided I'm not buying anothe Mill Hill kit until they come with the thread already sorted! Cheap kits from the Dollar store have figured out how to do that, so why can't Mill Hill?

About your Quaker, what about putting your initials in the wreath in sort of a monogram style such as sDa … all uppercase but the first and middle initials being smaller?🧐
