Thank you very much for this, Eddie. Thanks to you, I was able to get in there, reset the switch and finish the laundry. Clearly the duct is ready for another cleaning, as well as the machine. I’ll take care of that in the next week or so. My Spax bits that I use for my carpentry screws fit the Bosch screws perfectly.
Imagine a world where the manufacturer designed this thing with the high limit switch / breaker on the OUTSIDE of the unit... so that it were super easy to reset...
Thank you again! This is the second time I had to reset the button. My only thing is I am struggling to put the back on again. hoping it goes on better this second time!

Really helpful. I just fixed mine. Thank you
Thanks for your very helpful video!
I just bend the exhaust vent pipe inward, push the reset button with a screwdriver, then push the pipe round again. Two minutes. Prost!
I had to look up my comment to do it again! Too easy. Cheers!
How did you get those screws out? They are so shallow my screwdriver couldn’t grab them
I don't know what screws you are referring to
@@Fasteddiesinhomerepair I figured out they are star screws
@@katierichardson6023 AKA Torx. Manufacturers love to use those so that consumers can't easily work on their own appliances.
@@Big_Island_Boi i just bought the right star bit and it was easy. I fixed the dryer.
