  • Rondo of Swords was Atlus's response to Nintendo's Fire Emblem. Another DS title with very little use of the stylus. Time to uncover this tactical RPG to find out if it's a gem or if it's just dirt.

I bet Diablo 3 coach co-op would feel like a really good Gauntlet game

I think I'm just going to have to come to terms that if I happen to like a game, especially if it's obscure and niche, there's going to be a good 95% chance that everyone else dislikes it.
Like heck, I really hard disagree with the mage comments for instance. My party set up usually consisted of 2-3 mages and they always did work. Mages are obscenely powerful, they just require investment to get their spells and admittedly some set up. Far reaching attacks that can hit enemies from outside their movement/attack range, wide AoEs of various patterns, some of the highest damage you can get, etc. If they could move before casting, even with their lower base movement, they'd just break the game entirely.
Urg, I swear, I grew up playing and appreciating the wrong games. "Anime" is always a negative point after all yet I never notice it.
