Yes it does... however I think it cleans the waterline well in normal mode. Much better than the other models I tried. There is a floor only mode, floor and walls mode plus wall and waterline mode. In my opinion you don't require anything other than normal mode which does the floor, walls and waterline

Not impressed. It climbs the deep end wall only once. Most of the wall is left uncleaned
You might be right however I tried all of the models and this one was definitely the best.
