    ne out there.
I have been using this for my 16x24 pool and it does an amazing job Cleans and scrubs the floor and walls. I had a ton of landscaping recently done in the backyard which littered the pool with leaves and dirt. The Dolphin cleaned EVERYTHING in one 3 hour cycle. If you are considering spending twice the money I doubt you will get better results because this cleaner already gets to everything.

Any underwater cam connected to this? That would be a fun feature to use and watch on a PC or iPhone.

I have just purchased this pool cleaner. Has done a great job of cleaning the the pool, but have to agree with comments re its randomness. Sat and watch it do a wall an edge cycle last night ( yes the whole 1.5hrs) Did some bits once and other bits 6 times (totally missed big bits of wall, did nearly all edging). Also in a couple of spots spent a good couple of minutes nocking aganist the same edge of the wall over and over again. I was convinced it has literally no idea where it is and operates randomaly on the hope it covers everything and also changes what it is doing every couple of minutes ( even if it is in the middle of doing something well) on the the off chance its doing something dumb, like trying to eat its cable or constantly headbutting a corner. It has some basic sense for when you ask it t rise to collect,it does seem to find the exact spot you put it in. Have had more luck by starting it on the longest lenght of the pool. Some thing that has been recommended to me but is not in the guide anywhere?. I like it, great features, but seems to operate on 80's random guidance technology. Its does a good job but could do it in 1/4 of the time if it had any smart which is a shame for power and wear and tear. Hoping its IQ matures over time? In a couple of weeks going to submit a video of its tracking. If I mowed my lawn like it cleans the pool, it would be a full weekend job. Very suprised in this day and age it dosent compose you a map of your pool after a bit of time so that you can tell it what to avoid and what to focus on.
Pros,: looks great, excellent app, great filtering, seem well built Cons: Appears to have zero spatial awareness except for when it wants to get out of the pool (probably a dizzy as crap and wants out), wastes over half its time overcleaning patches and doing unexplaned turns and rotations which must severely shorten its parts life, My last cleaner was too, but this one aswell is shit at steps ( my steps are standard, spends huge effort and time getting up the steps, to just then back down them again like a drunk mountainbiker with little cleaning done. Ie would have thought it could sense "this feels like a step in demensions, I will clean along it rather than nose diving backwards off it yet again> Summary. Great design, let down by commadore 64 guidance technology. Hope fully gets better over time. Otherwise might remove software and tie it to a rock on the middle of pool and have it do ever decreasing circles, save so much time and energy!

How can I pre-program it to use the ultra-clean cycle for my daily cleaning cycles? It only allows me to chose the regular option.

I got one and I love it so far. Where would you recommend storing it? Sunlight is no problem in our lanai, however the cold is a concern. The last thing I want to do is damage it!

This is the third year I opened my pool with this robot. No problem so far and works great. A decent size filter can pickup from micro dust to big leaves. I had problems with the app but it got improved a lot recently, works charmingly now. A happy customer after all!

So, bought this at a local dealer here in New Jersey. I have the m600. I used it 3 times last year and 2 times this year. Now the robot just died, and is unresponsive. I am taking it in for service tomorrow. Incidentally, I am not sure why, but the technician said that this isn't one of Dolphin's best units. Sad, I got nearly 2,000 US Dollars into this robot.

What is the point of the WiFi connection. You still need to physically put the cleaner in and remove it.

      Dear Michael Mitros,
We're sorry to learn that you feel that way about the app.
Wi-fi connectivity provides you with additional features & capabilities, and although you do need to place your unit in the pool, the Dolphin M600 has the feature of 'Pick-me up' for a quick & easy retrieve of your robot from the pool.
Should you require any kind of other assistance or if you would like to discuss this matter further with us, please contact us at wecare@maytronics.com?
      Thank you,

DEAR MAYTRONICS CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ ABOUT THEIR SERVICING AND PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE SCAM:
Maytronics will not sell you the carbon brushes for the main DC pump motor of their robots.
This means that as a consumer you CANNOT prevent the main pump motor from failing after a few years. A carbon brush is a $10 consumable part to keep a DC motor running.
This means that when you pay for a “service” they do not exercise due diligence and replace the carbon brushes while inside the control box.
This means that after a few years the robot will cease working no matter what you do.
THEY WILL however sell you an entire new motor, or an entire new robot...
Buyer beware. You can buy brushes for your ryobi angle grinder, your Makita drop saw, your cars internal blower fan, you can buy them from the manufacturer for just about ANY dc motor, but Maytronics refuse to sell the brushes, and will only sell (via the service reps) you the diagnostics fee, an entire new motor and replacement costs.
Any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. Please ask why these were not replaced ANY time your robot is serviced. Absolutely DISGUSTING business practice. If this isn’t planned obsolescence then what is!?
They will also make excuses that their system is modular unlike the competition somehow justifying this scam. They are happy to sell you an entire new robot for 2.5k, or the entire assembly, when a $10 consumable part would very likely keep the motor going and irrespective should be available for sale via the service reps and should be replaced ANY time the motor box is opened for paying customers.

I dont understand all of these positive comments, we have this model and it doesn’t work at all!
My family got this model a few months ago, it never seemed to work well. From not picking up debris (even with new filters and right after deepcleans) to just completely ignoring big areas of the pool.
The robot also just randomly drives around with no logical pattern at all. They claim it uses AI to customize how it cleans based on your pool, but this clearly isn’t true. It just drives up to the middle of the pool, randomly decided ‘oh i don’t have to go to the edge of the pool, so it turns 60 degrees sideways and goed the other way. Sometimes it goes up the wall, but then after about 20cm it will just go down again. In rare cases it will actually drive around the edge of the pool, only to then randomly turn away before even reaching the other side of the pool. We’ve tried giving the robot different starting points like they advice, it has good internet connection and we make sure the cable it long enough and doesn’t tangle up. Nothing helps.
Even after 2 ‘Ultra Clean Cycle’s of 2.5 hours each, right after eachother with a deepclean of both filter and the robot in between, the pool is still not clean. And I’m not talking about small debris, small and big leafs, medium sized debris, even on spots where the robot has been, are all left behind.
I also notice the robot can’t even go straight. When it tries to do that it will always slightly go towards the right and thus miss parts of the pool.
Overall this model has done a very sloppy job of “cleaning” the pool, not sure if you can even call it cleaning to be honest. We’ve had store people come over to check on the robot, they just tell us ‘the robot is supposed to help clean but not do it for you’ which is just ridiculous for it’s price. It’s already a fair bit of work cleaning the robot & filter after every session, picking the leafs up it missed ourselves, checking up on the robot etc, but after all of that we still have to manually clean it since the robot missed so much dirt.
Either our robot is faulty and the store owners don’t want to tell us, or this robot is just a straight up scam!
