- Hi, I’m Steve - a Heavy Vehicle Recovery Driver from the South of England with a passion for all things recovery! Growing up in a family-run car recovery business, I was hooked from a young age, learning the ropes and working my way up to operating some of the largest, most impressive vehicles on the road. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working for some of the UK’s biggest recovery firms, tackling challenging jobs and adrenaline-pumping situations.
I created this channel to share the thrills, challenges, and behind-the-scenes action of the recovery world. Whether you’re here to learn about recovery in the UK or just love watching the drama unfold, you’re in for a treat - enjoy the ride!
Get ready for an action-packed 2025 on my channel! If any of this sparks your interest, don’t forget to hit that subscribe button! This year I'll be covering the following:
Tips and advice for newcomers ready to dive into a career in Heavy Vehicle Recovery
POV videos of recovering Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) on UK roads
Walkaround tours of some of the largest, most epic heavy recovery vehicles in the UK
Drone footage in the intro, courtesy of Marian Croitoru.
Quick heads-up: These videos aren’t for training purposes - they’re here to entertain!
Good to see you're back Steve, great video as always. The disappearing nut trick strikes, you'd never find it,,,,, best leave it rusting in the drains. Take care mate.
Thanks John , Mercedes garage supplied me with another nut all sorted mate.

Thanks Steve for yet another great insight into such an interesting side of things that we don't normally see, I love it. I have a thousand questions but just 1 because of your location for this recovery - Can you get support from the Highways Agency to help in coning off, closing a lane etc on busy motorways like the M25?
Thanks Steve.
Great video Steve!

Wow, was thinking when you was laid under the truck doing the prop shaft how dangerous it is if another driver wasn’t concentrating. Guessing highways don’t help every time ?
Thanks for watching , if we lucky they might stop and provide some cover.
RIP nut. Gone forever.
Got spare nut from Mercedes , all ended well.
Good job Steve 👍
Thanks for watching lee.
Fellow heavy op saw you in Veolia Rochester just before Christmas 👍
Will you be keeping the Volvo or the DAF after it comes back from repair ?
Thanks for watching , back in Daf now.
It’s a pleasure watching a video by a professional, without the drama audio like on some North American channels 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for watching Harry.
