My fiancée and I did the same thing. We picked out our rings together, and then I bought hers and she bought mine. When we went for our first try on, I wasn’t allowed to see mine on me and she wasn’t allowed to see hers on her, that way when we each proposed, we hadn’t seen our actual ring on our finger before. I think this is such a good way to do this! Cuz like you said you wanna love it bc you’re going to wear it forever. And there was still a surprise to it bc we hadn’t seen our rings in person yet. Ugh such a fun fun time!
