This guitar and this amp are an incredible combination. Yes, he plays very well, but the basses on this guitar, amplified by that little TWEED are just so solid and rich.
tasteful and controlled, playing music instead of simply showing off - nice ! a cool axe and amp help but he could pull that off on any other guitar, I'm sure.

A 1955 Strat, played with a slide. You don't see that every day. The Deluxe sounds great too. Joey & Blake Mills are my two favorite guitar player right now. Wonderful.
Anyone know what tuning he’s in? He usually plays in open C (open E dropped down 4 steps) with baritone strings but I wouldn’t think they would do that to an old guitar for the video.
I would imagine they didn’t set up the guitar specifically for this demo...tag is still hanging? Looks like he’s playing in standard tuning? He’s a monster player! Crazy tasty

I've never heard as much fretted notes mixed in with slide work and it just sounds incredible
