I was recently given a commission (thanks Jim Bergsten!) to transcribe this piece and Jim has Ok’ed me to put the result up here on YT and for the PDF to be as readily available as for my Genesis videos.
It's scored, as usual, with Sibelius 7.5
The audio is Anthony Phillips playing his own composition “The Elephant’s Tale” off the CD “Harmony For Elephants” which was created by the artists (and others) below for the benefit of the charity “Elephants for Africa”.
Most of you I’m sure will be familiar with the name Anthony Phillips as he was, of course, one of the original founding members of Genesis alongside Peter, Mike & Tony. He’s a renowned guitarist, particularly on the 12-string, but perhaps not so well known as a fine pianist (with large hands!) as can be heard on this track.
There are a few performance notes in the PDF but apart from that there’s not much else to say from my perspective.
All I can add is that if you like this piece, please buy the “Harmony For Elephants” CD which also contains compositions and performances by (amongst others) Steve Hackett and several musicians who are currently working (or have in the past worked) with Steve; Roger King, Nad Sylvan, Amanda Lehmann, Rob Townsend & Nick Magnus. There’s also a track by 70’s Genesis guitar roadie and original Farm studio guy Dale Newman!

NICE! Anthony's music is so so heartwarming for me. I don't know what it is. Maybe his chords, maybe his voice leading, don't know. Doesn't really matter. It's incredible that this sounds so mucho like Genesis for me. I often think that Tony is responsible for that special part of "the Genesis sound". But somehow Ant's music also has that same quality.
Ant's chords & sequences just resonate with me in the same way that Tony's do. It's my 'soul' music 😊
This tune has echoes of Bach, Debussy, Mad Man Moon middle and even Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star! 😂
I've got pretty well all his material including the eleven Private Parts... albums which are sublime; plenty of 12-string and piano tracks!

Don't know the piece, but it's pretty. With no disrespect - Anthony being so integral to Genesis's early sound, even after he left - this does sound like something Tony B could have written in 1969. It's the modulations!
