- How to make a sausage bread rolls. This recipe yields 16 sausage bread rolls.
Here's what you'll need:
Ingredients:
1 cup milk (250ml)
1 egg (65g)
3 and 1/2 cup all purpose flour (437g)
1/4 cup sugar (50g)
2 and ¼ teaspoon instant yeast (6-7g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
4 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
16 pcs cooked sausages or hotdogs
eggwash: 1 egg + 2 tbsp milk beaten
1 tablespoon sesame seeds for toppings

FORNO - Asse em forno pré-aquecido a 180 ° C / 356 ° F por 20 minutos ou até dourar levemente. O tempo de cozimento pode variar dependendo das especificações do seu forno. Estou usando um forno convencional cujo calor sobe do fundo.
OVEN - Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C/356°F for 20 minutes or until lightly brown. Baking time may vary depending on your oven's specifications. I'm using a conventional oven which heat rises from the bottom.
YEAST - Active dry yeast and instant yeast both help leaven bread and provide an airy, light texture, but they do so in slightly different ways and there's one major difference in how you use them: Active dry yeast needs to be dissolved in water before using, while instant yeast can be mixed right into dry ingredients.

I made these earlier and was amazing. Instead of 356F I baked them at 350F at 20mins. Sprinkled on top with parmesan and dried parsley and they were a hit in my household. I warmed the milk also before adding it to the dry ingredients.

Oh btw i just use one batch for this and raisin bread i cut it in half. Made 8 sausage bread instead of 16 and then 1 loaf on raisin. I wish i can send you photos. 😊

Made this earlier and the recipe is great! It didn't go as planned because the sausage I ordered arrived very late so I was afraid I overproofed my dough but it still came out fine and delicious! I still need more practice with the alternate folding of the dough though, mine didn't look as good as the video hehe. But the taste made up for it so still super satisfied, 😊.
