So great to see you both out on the water sailing again. Your energy is palpable and so fantastic to see both enjoying yourselves after working so hard on the boat.
You've opened my eyes to Tonga and I think I am not alone in being able to better understand them and have deeper feelings for all of the people there. Thanks.
Glad you’re adventuring - hope you and those you know and love avoided catastrophic effects from the volcanic explosion and tsunamis from Tonga Other than that, fun watch as usual
I hope all my sailing channels are ok. Zatara crew was ready to head back have to go check them. Nahowa just got back to thier boat but can't remember what island thier on. So you guys stay safe.
God is good for such pure love of life, nature and all your surroundings even as Mother Earth unleashes her anger because her children (All the big gun-countries) are fighting over stupidity... N watching your exploration adventures n what not makes me faith in God stronger... Thank you and stay safe...God bless
That family in Tonga has a channel! It’s “Dior Sheen” I believe....I think they were going back to New Zealand or was it Australia? Anyway, it’s a great channel.
Glad to see the “giddiness” is back. Your enjoyment for sailing really comes through on this video. It has been a long time that repairs to the boat haven’t been the theme to the vlog.
I've been watching you guys since the RV days and I love that you're able to explore the world in the way that you have. Cudos to both of you. I work full-time with my wife and that alone can be quite the challenge in itself. I know we only see the good stuff, but I know that sometimes the struggle is real. :) Thank you so much for sharing your lives with us. Many times when I watch, I get all starry eyed thinking about selling our house for a nice Class A and traveling the country. Maybe someday...Cheers you two.
My wife and I had the same idea. The pandemic changed our plans of selling our home. We are going to have to work a 2 more years to keep what we have and buy a cheaper class A and a much smaller boat. We haven't given up the dream though. Stay safe and enjoy your journey.
We have watched them since their first motorhome. We haven't sold our house, but bought a beautiful used motorhome for vacations, and some short weekend trips. My husband and I both work full time and still have our house. I love our vacations, and now, we both wouldnt have it any other way.
@@kimberlyholland8864 Hi Kim. We actually bought a motor home about 4 years ago now too. We both work full-time as well and love getting away even for 3 days on a weekend. We'll never stop at this point and it's why I say that I'd love to be able to just travel. Maybe someday!
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this, and how envious I am! Stuck in the UK in January, blue blue sea and that sort of life seems like another planet! Great to see you both back on the water - look forward to the next installment!
Prayer for all in Tonga and surrounding areas effected. Your trip was beautiful as always. I’m surprised no fish were caught. The salad looked really good. Thanks for sharing with all of us who follow the adventures. Best wishes for you both. 👏⛵️🏝
It's crazy how we all feel a strong connection to Tonga because of you two... thank you Jason & Nikki for letting us be a part of your AWESOME world adventure... Gary from SW Utah...
Hi Guys, Love your channel! Glad you're back in the water, and adventuring. A word of advice from a retired (35 years) electronics tech. ALWAYS flush electronics that has been in salt water, with fresh. Remove the battery, if possible, and flush with Copious amounts of fresh water, as soon as possible after the immersion. Disassemble it as much as possible. Use a hair dryer, if available, or just let it dry out for several days. The salt water will certainly destroy it, so you really have nothing to lose by dowsing it in fresh. I have gone as far as putting equipment into a dishwasher. Good luck with your current travels. Calm seas, and following winds.
It is almost embarrassing to admit, but after finding you 4 months ago I just finished all 301 sailing videos (the last week, having covid, gave me a chance to power through a LOT of them). Not only that, but after telling someone this summer that sailboats scare me and that I had no interest at all, my mind has been changed, and I have convinced my husband that we need to retire early and get a boat. Lucky for me, he didn't look at me like I was totally crazy and we will be spending a week at the Seattle Boat Show in Feb. Anyway, thanks for being an inspiration and helping me look at life in a whole new way. :) I hope to see you on the water sometime in the next few years.
I love to see you guys exploring again! Also, my thoughts have been with your friends and Tonga. Crazy fact, I read today that a pressure wave from Tonga could even be detected here in Jacksonville Florida. Enjoy your week and see you next Sunday! --Jessica from Florida 🌞
Electronic tip for any electronic that gets wet! To dry out electronic boards. Open up the case (QUICKLY) don't let it sit. Remove the boards and batteries if you can. Some plastics may dissolve in alcohol. Do a test on the plastic case and covering on batteries first. If good. Submerge both in a bucket of (Denatured Alcohol) while shaking them vigorously to get the alcohol under all the components on the boards. Than let dry for 2 hours or blow them out with compress air. 👈🥸😎👍
I'm constantly amazed at the quality of your posts. I've tried to watch other sailing channels and they don't even come close to you guys. Even when you are in moderate or heavy waves or weather. You guys are just awesome. Hope that you and all the friends you made in Tonga are safe. Happy sailing!
“We got to somewhere” I’m totally borrowing that when we’re allowed out again. Thank you😊 for taking us on your adventures. I look forward to your videos every week. Love to you both. I hope that your lovely friends in Tonga are okay.
I have been so used to seeing boat maintenance videos that I found myself wondering who’s channel am I really watching! I am so happy to see you both starting to explore again. It must feel GREAT! I loved the underwater footage. I hope your drone can be revived. Love your channel.
We're hoping that all your extended family and friends in Tonga are safe and secure. The fact that it took this long for you to crash a drone shows just how careful the two of you are in your adventures. Please continue to stay safe out there!
@@teeanahera8949 Thanks Tee. I don't know "Blue." If someone is going to repeat my words, I can only hope that what I said was thoughtful, useful or positive. It's amazing that we're all concerned for so many people we have never met. Be well!
Woo-hoo! Back to sailing and exploring ... what we (and you) have been waiting for. Thank you Plus the count down. 2,000 until Half a Million subscribers. Congratulations!
Loved the drone shots (and especially the music playing with it) and appreciated your honesty about the lobster, as delicious as that could have been. Karma coming back around soon I’m sure
Very nice guys! Your quality just keeps getting better. Colors, music, excitement and humor make for great entertainment. You guys are rockin it. Praying for Tonga🙏🏼.
Nicki and Jason, you haven't told us what is happening with the Fridges which you ripped out...or have I missed something along the way? Flush the drone in a mixture of methylated spirits and water 50:50 is good, with no batteries in of course, then dry it out in a bucket of rice. Keep the rice afterwards to eat as the meth evaporates off. Great episode again by the way!
I recently came across your videos and enjoyed them so much I went back 5 years to watch your entire sailing journey! Happy and sad to be all caught up, now I eagerly await new videos.
As one of my Favourite Channels to watch I just want to say thank you for doing what you do and keep up the awesome content Unfortunately for me iv now lost pretty much everything so at the end of this month I'm going to be homeless and living on the streets and thought I would try and express how much these episodes have kept me going and have been a source of great entertainment when I'm alone at night. Hope you Guys are continued to be blessed with the best in the years to come. Once again Thank You see you on the other side. Fair winds and following seas
To echo the other comments, I too felt my heart sink when I read about the volcanic eruption and tsunami in Tonga. I feel, I am sure as all of us who follow Gone With The Wynn's do, that I have travelled to all these places with you. Tonga was especially beautiful as we got to know it even better throughout your time there. I hope and pray that your dear friends and all the people of Tonga are well. Thank you for every single beautiful memory you have given me. Every time that beautiful drone footage found me literally gasping. You both are the absolute best. Forever grateful.
Honestly was fun to watch you guys scrape at caulk in windows for what seems liked forever, but glad to see you back out sailing. Can’t wait to see you guys get to know New Zealand. Let’s hope COVID chills out and everything is open
Wonderful to see you back exploring. Love the foodie focus. If you haven’t already….check out free range sailing. They have taken foraging and cooking with simple equipment to a whole new level. Thanks again!
As a former SCUBA diver I always thought sea lettuce is a particularly pretty variety of marine algae. Because it does not have a root system or stem I think it has a more delicate appearance than other varieties of sea weed. It is also sometimes used as bait when targeting specific species of fish.
Thank you for teaching me about the sea. The lettuce salad looked divine!! While drinking my coffee in AZ I was gifted with the majestic New Zealand islands and the underwater life!! Thank you for sharing your adventures!

We wanted to be there for your first drone crash Nikki! I’m up to three dead drones now. I still want to go hunting for that drone we lost at the glacier. I’m almost positive it stayed 25’ off the deck and eventually hit land.
This video made my heart swell and my eyes well up (a bit dusty in here??). Thank you so much for the real-time Patreon update you sent re: Tonga and the tsunami yesterday. Back in the house again. We are old so we have to be careful for now! I love watching you guys it makes life right now easier. You really do bring a lot of enjoyment to me.
Watching the dolphins swimming next to the boat makes me think about the first people that came to the islands and knowing that they seen them on the boats back then.
As a kiwi who hasn't lived there in a long time it's nice to see you travel around the country. It's a beautiful place.. but not all that warm. Good memories from Great barrier island though!

First comment on your page. I've been watching all the videos and they are great. I love how you left some time at the end of this one with just the sound of the water hitting the boat. That sound immediately takes me to summer on the lake. I live in Minnesota so lots of water but not like there!
It is good to see Curiosity cutting through the big blue, again. Glad you two are doing well. Thanks for the twenty or so minute vacation. See you both next week. Be safe.
Another great episode! :) Love your easy going sense of humour. Living vicariously through you lol … especially during this other round of lockdown in Quebec 😫
I am noticing hearts on comments with regard to the volcanic explosion. I hope that means you two are fine. May the wind fill your sails and keep you well.
Thank you for all your amazing videos. Really happy you had a chance to restart your adventure and be safe in NZ. We stay tuned for your next ones. 🇨🇦 Canadian followers!
Good thing you recently left Tonga! Safe travels Wynns! Love your channel! Just bought a 36’ Albin trawler to do the Great Loop with my wife and son this summer.
I love that area of New Zealand, so thanks for the glimpse of the same coastline I sailed a few years ago. Don't give up on the drone. Remove the battery and memory card, and absolutely drown in in fresh water repeatedly. Let it dry a bit for a few days, and if you have dessicant, stick it in a bag for at least a couple of weeks. Since you scooped it out of the water, you might have a 50-50 chance it will survive to fly again!
Another awesome vlog guys and you’re back on the road again. Tourism New Zealand should sponsor your new wetsuits because you have spent so much on the maintenance part of the deal and are now showcasing our country to the world and doing it very well.
It's nice to see a sailing channel actually sailing
Videos from Tonga is the BEST, congratulaciones.
cool

There's no way that plate of salad was a meal. There wasn't even 100 calories on that plate. You must eat 20 meals a day at that volume.

O Kimbo there is no "even worse" Dolphins don't take sides. ever wonder why they do that?
That's why they say dolphins are so clever, you can't prove them wrong on this one.😃

Hobbiton is in the middle of the island. Not accessible by yacht. Lol.
I hope you and all sailors, the people of Tonga and all the effected land are ok, I cry with that old man that lost his boat, thanx for the videos.
Great to see you two back in the waves. Love NZ. Love the food tips. And well I could drone on and on.....
So nice to see you two smiling and happy!

We are worried about y'all, hope you made it safely out to sea before tsunami! Could you hear that Shockwave? Let us know you're fine
Another great episode! :)
Love your easy going sense of humour. Living vicariously through you lol … especially during this other round of lockdown in Quebec 😫
I am noticing hearts on comments with regard to the volcanic explosion. I hope that means you two are fine. May the wind fill your sails and keep you well.
It looks like a grand sailing day, decent winds and waves❤️
There are waterproof drones that float, ya know. Given the fact that you guys are always near water, that would make more sense.
Yes but are they any good? Any one you would recommend?
You guys, as always on high spirit. LOVE the music at the beginning of the video, whoever’s idea that was? you nailed it. Stay safe.
New Zealand is on my bucket list. In the meantime I will enjoy it through your adventures.
Thanks guys love your smiles.
So glad you guys are past Tonga, prayers for all those affected by the recent eruption. Stay safe out there guys.
Thank you for all your amazing videos. Really happy you had a chance to restart your adventure and be safe in NZ. We stay tuned for your next ones. 🇨🇦 Canadian followers!
Thanks for taking the chilly dive. The underwater video was AMAZING!!
Fantastic to see you back doing what comes naturally to you. Hope all is well for your friends in Tonga, may God protect you all.
Great vlog! Hope your safe in the location your staying! Take care!!
Great ride. Thanks for sharing that beautiful place with us.
Good to see you sailing again. Enjoy!
Finally, A Happy Happy Crew.... It's been a while...Made me feel good just watching..
