Amazing copper adventure fascinating to see what specimens you choose to take home. I just found my first specs of copper in two rocks and now I am hooked. Always very educational thanks for another great video😊
Wow, those are beautiful! Me like very much and would love to see some polished. Thank you for the adventure and the cleaning and cutting. So much fun!
Love all the different patterns with rocks, I think it would look awesome slicing up different patterns and lay them out on a door or table with clear resin. 👍
WOW!!!! Those were some great finds! As soon as I saw that giant jasper I was hooked to see what else you would find (the greens were just phenomenal). Daisy is looking well and she is definitely happy when out exploring with you. I had a good chuckle at your comment of "I only have a backpack so I have to be a little more choosey as to what I take home" to be followed by "that's coming home with me, that's coming with me, that's coming with me" lol! The ones that you cut with the copper running throughout were stunning and I can't wait see the cabochons that you make from them! Thank you for another great video! One day, I hope to bump into you and Daisy while out rockhounding and maybe learn a trick or a tip (this rookie is always eager to learn). Have a great weekend Greig!
your the best in presentation of the natural wonder of nature... beautiful rocks, like to know more on how the origin of the rocks on forming the way they do.. so much learning you teach in a fun way . ty for your channel..
I just rewatched the slicing on the breccia am I seeing iron mineral staining. If so I would powder up a slice so that 80% goes through a 30 mesh screen and pan it for free gold. I was camping with the family and found a breccia rock with a similar look. Broken a chunk off ground it up panned it out. It had some really nice gold in it and now the rest of the rock sits in the front yard garden and sprinkled all around the plants is gold bearing mineral specimens.
The pinpointer sounds off on any metal - silver, gold, copper and of course iron. These blue/green rocks were copper stained, so I wondered if inside might be detectable amount of copper
@@meMiner yes you should. I used to like watching your tumbling videos 😊, I learnt a lot from your videos. I make a few videos of my tumbling, they might inspire you to get the tumbler going 😊😊😊😊
Oh buddy, don't I know the weight of your pack! Those are so cool. Are they pyrite and chalcopyrite crystal vugs that filled with calcite? In a quartz host? Never seen green muriatic before!
You are centre to lots of great collecting. I know some spots on private land, but you can get started with road cuts or google "mindat cloyne" and start your research where others have found stuff nearby
Specialists said my back is fully healed and to use it. But I wouldn't put a pack on Daisy other then maybe to have her carry a couple of small bottles of water. ;-)
That was fun to watch It was interesting which stones were contrasting and others were just grey Your rocks look similar to some of mine found in BC near cache creek mile 16 n was at a spot called Scottie creek There was also serpentine , asbestos and muscovite as well as amythyst and smoky quartz bands The green was brecciated with cream, and mauve colours. Very similar Your video is the first I’ve seen that was similar
I remember years ago driving by a small mine in the Cariboo on Cunningham Creek and there were was similar waste rock right down to the road. Back then, I was only interested in gold. I'd love to visit it again.
Spots like that all over. I've been prospecting and collecting for a while now here around Chloride near Kingman AZ. Lots of precious metals and other minerals to find. What I don't get is, why all these people that love this stuff, they have money, but they don't go out and get it. Sure wish I had money to start an operation around here, I know some really good spots.
Dear friend. very good. I have this type of oxidized copper in the mine and it has very good gold in the iron and copper rock test. Especially green copper oxide. At the same time, pyrites with copper also contain gold. To extract gold, use the above demti cleaning. I extracted two grams of gold from malachites with silica in one kilogram. Good luck.
I was wondering how you can still do this kind of thing after the absolute beating your body took? You must have had some excellent doctors, or good genes or both? When i saw you all smashed up i thought, man he may never be able to keep up with his hobby. Boy was I wrong. Thankfully!!
you got the camera to show pyrite as "fool's" gold with the color change in shade. many people white balance so the pyrite shows as a dull, opaque, grainy, greenish silver.
Daisy needs a saddle bag to help with all your rock's. Always love your videos.
I was thinking the same thing.
What an extraordinary discovery my friend, I think a place like this is hard to find.
Fun adventure & love your finds. Also great to see Daisy out exploring too. Best regards & wishes always.
they look pretty cool, and I'm guessing your back is feeling good enough to haul that huge load out. good stuff
I am told my back is fully healed
Enjoyed! Just like opening presents.....some are socks and some just what you wanted🍻. This big rock were on is truly amazing!
Nice! I cut up some petrified wood and tumbling it now.
It's my first time doing it.
Oh i learned something from ur video. Thanks.
Rock on meMiner!
Good luck with your tumble
Beautiful material and such depth too! Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Dang would love some of that jasper. Cool finds.
Fascinating range of specimens!!
I always enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing.
I want to go here and hang out with these rocks!! Great vid!
I really enjoyed, thank you.
Awesome video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🥰🥰🥰🥰

Mainly chrysocolla and malachite, maybe a little turquoise. Azurite is almost royal blue. Copper sulfates are stunning
Looks like a dream come true, picking through those coppery seams. I wonder if there was some azurite somewhere?
In this spot, there was a little bit.
Love all the different patterns with rocks, I think it would look awesome slicing up different patterns and lay them out on a door or table with clear resin. 👍
I'd buy some of that. one good size rock.
same with a slice of silver. both look cool
maybe if u go back with some help?!
Great day! Loved the show!
Awesome video me Minor As always favorite rock Hound👍🙏
I like that blue, green, but look at the small pieces in the sand their good fer jewlery
That was interesting! Thank you from the land down under.
Hola amigo bello video se ve muy bien ya repuesto de lo pasado me gustan mucho las piedras minerales
Always enjoy your adventures. Thank you!

For sure, if you see me then say "hello".
Lol, I like the comment about having to start choosing which ones to take and then every rock after that is a keeper!
Thank you for sharing👍 Malachite I love finding this when I'm looking for Gold. Cheers Kev
Yep, malachite, chalcopyrite and wormy quartz seem to be close friends with gold. There was some gold at this mine too.
You need to get a Dasy pack so she can carry some too. LOL
Like those ones with red and green bet those are nice cabs
Beautiful specimens.
Suspended in clear resin as a pendent would be nice 👍🕊️
I assumed there would he more copper threads and stuff after the acid.

yes I agree, natural wonder of nature indeed!!
Always a good day when meMiner uploads. Hope you are well. Another great adventure.
well, wasn't that FUN!! Lovely Chrysocolla color at the site, and who-knows-what when cut! A total FUN adventure!! Absolutely enjoyable & THANKS!!!
Thanks Sally
great find beautiful rocks

There was gold at this mine. I am not sure the % per ton.
That's some nice pieces! Thank you for sharing the adventure! And good luck!
OMG the ones revealed at 14:30 are gorgeous!
Enjoyed this video! Just recently got more interested in rocks. Can you explain what you are looking for when you use the pinpointer? Thanks!
The pinpointer sounds off on any metal - silver, gold, copper and of course iron. These blue/green rocks were copper stained, so I wondered if inside might be detectable amount of copper
Very interesting 👍🏻😊 thank you for this video. And what is the result after acid ? Other methods to extract the copper ? Have a nice day - Francesco
Some copper was exposed and also pyrite. It was an interesting experiment. I'd like to try a rock heavy in copper next time
Very cool I love that red copper ore
I think you did just fine!
Nice pieces. Hope you make a follow up video after they are polished.
No broken bones! It’s all good! Nice video buddy!
You got that right!
They are really beautiful.
I love green rocks.
Will you put any in your tumbler?
I haven't used my tumblers at all this summer. I really should get one or two spinning
@@meMiner yes you should.
I used to like watching your tumbling videos 😊, I learnt a lot from your videos.

You were right, you could have even heat treated several of those b4 slicing and I think they would have turned out awesome.
Interesting comment. I didn't think about heat treatment
Pretty rocks - I guess note to self: always pack pin pointer! Good Adventure.
Yep if not a full metal detector
@@meMiner But you were traveling lite!!
Cool spot !!!!!
Epic
Definitely a nice spot.
I liked that a lot, it was cool to get that cut view of metals. You can see how they can be crystalline, too... so cool.
Great adventure. Love the finds & also great to see Daisy exploring too. Best regards !
Awesome, just brilliant 👍👍👍🆒 and Thank You for sharing 🤠🍻
Actually very interesting how different the inside of each rock is! While one is awesome, the next is quartz! Thanks for sharing !
If I was you I would get yourself a pack horse next time you go 😂👍... beautiful rocks.
Gems in the image of their natural environment
As always.. love the Video
Nice
me, love the channel. Reminds me (ones self, not you) of when I was a kid. Had my nose to the ground 16-7.
Great video, Thx for the content
Rock on
Love the rock hounding and cutting them !
I enjoy your videos, it helps me keep my bucket list full thank you
Amazing!
Silver sulfide, which is black on the stone, is dissolved with what acid and then precipitated with sodium sulfide
How do you stabilize yours for cabs?
Epoxy 30
BEAUTIFUL!! 😻🤘👍
never judge a rock by its cover. lol
So right.
Yeah! We’re going on an adventure!
Marvelous finds congrats!
I have found similar rocks where I live and I can’t seem to figure out what they are
Omggggg I’ll pay you to tell me where this is 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Oh buddy, don't I know the weight of your pack! Those are so cool. Are they pyrite and chalcopyrite crystal vugs that filled with calcite? In a quartz host? Never seen green muriatic before!
Yes, quartz host. Pack was OK but certainly felt heavier walking uphill
we are located in the Cloyne / Plevna area . Have you ever explorded this area and are there any good spots for rock hounding ??
You are centre to lots of great collecting. I know some spots on private land, but you can get started with road cuts or google "mindat cloyne" and start your research where others have found stuff nearby
Good video, the location for me wouldn't warrant a second trip.
Enjoyed your post.
Hey meminer! What. Do u think of. What Roger
From The mud fossil university says about. Geology and. Fossils?
I think it is amusing.
If you become an expert rock hound , hunter, searcher etc .
What would you have been before being an ex pert?
Pert. Now, old and ex pert
@@meMiner
Pert, I thought that a was flimsey top, summer breeze thing. lol.
@@symonrocks9847 Maybe in the UK, but here is means young and beautiful. ;-)
@@meMiner
It does indeed mean young and beautiful but it is also used as a reference when mentioning female form.
Hope you can get out that Jasper. Looked amazing
For a guy that broke his back thats a heavy back pack. Daisy is too old to carry a pack. Cool results!
Specialists said my back is fully healed and to use it. But I wouldn't put a pack on Daisy other then maybe to have her carry a couple of small bottles of water. ;-)
Amazingly beautiful! 👏well done... what's the geology... there are copper mines near me I want to check out
Next time, I will try to get into a cut or adit to look at the geology
That was fun to watch

Are you in Pennsylvania
No. Ontario, Canada
Really enjoyed it! Beautiful and unusual specimens. Would that first big boulder for my rock garden. Would also love to know the location!! 🙂
The big one is still there
I was wondering how you can still do this kind of thing after the absolute beating your body took? You must have had some excellent doctors, or good genes or both? When i saw you all smashed up i thought, man he may never be able to keep up with his hobby. Boy was I wrong. Thankfully!!
"What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger". ;-)
Loved it
I’ve seen white quartz with yellow staining/ streaking that is rich with gold.
VG inside that could be crushed out?
Hey Bud, I think if you lock the blade down so it dosen't lift up will give a better cut.... Thanks for the journeys
The saw is getting old and no longer locks down. ;-)
"Maybe Baby?" LOL
I relate that to an American Dad episode!
Love your wanderings btw 😊
Also Tony Soprano ;-)

A couple hour drive from there
we need to drop an acid bin there, process it right on the spot ;) btw you carrying 80lb in a backpack?? A true lumberjack
Interesting idea about the HCL
shame u didn't tumble some pieces to make beads. would be gorgeous to use for jewellery making. i use loads in jewellery.....
Great idea!
What a beautiful mess.😍js 🇺🇲🧐
Wild rocks. Really pretty. I hope you can go back and get a chunk of that first big aqua boulder. Thanks.
That's the plan!
I'll trade you my house for that big green flaky cut cut rock from the beginning of the video.
The other three inhabitants are included in that offer.
Send pictures. LOL
oh wow, what a nice cut stone, much surprised
