Thank you for the comparison of sizes, very helpful!
Great review! Thanks.
I find the mini to be too mini for some restaurant tables and bars. The small is much more versatile for me.
Thanks for the input, the mini and small are my favourite sizes
Thank you! You are the only one to have all the sizes to compare and what they look like in person! Awesome video!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it
Very useful thank you
Small and Mini used for EDC, Med and Large are used in my RV.
Your voice is very ASMR. Thanks for the great review 👍
Thank you, you're welcome
Was going to make a similar comment. Very calming 🙂
Living in Northern California, we have been experiencing what has been described as Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) to reduce the chance of wildfires. I have always relied upon your side for tips on traveling light / practical however, your site has a fair bit of tips / product demonstrations for items useful when needing to leave your home in a hurry (PVSE, earthquakes, etc.).
I will be buying a heroclip as they are quite handy when you need to hang-dry a towel or hang something rather than lying it on a mucky floor. Using your provided links I purchased the mini clip in Sea Grass and the Chums Surfshort Wallet. Always enjoy your content and product selections.
Thank you so much. I was actually just reading about 'Bug-out-bags' and thinking of doing a video on that. I live in a bushfire prone area myself. So if I put one together I'll certainly do a video on that
It seems that depending on the individuals needs all 3 are great. I honestly see more use of the mini since most people won't be carrying even as much as 40 lbs. I carry a 25L bookbag daily that I fill with water bottles and 2 insulated containers, a bottle 20oz(?) And a 30oz cup. That's a whole lot of weight, most people would only really carry what I do on day trips or very long walks/runs. I would feel better with the large but I would probably use the mini on my days off work.
Yeah I personally love the mini the best. I always have one on every bag
Weight is not the only consideration. I've read from other reviewers that the mini does not fit many tables due to its size.
After your earlier comparison video, I bought a HeroClip to try out. Liked it so much that I bought two more so I have one on every bag. Just in case. But it has proven to be useful to hang my bag on the edge of a table so I can keep it in sight against thieves.
Thank you. Its a very handy and versatile piece of gear. What size colour did you get?
@@PackingLess Ferrari red, for a sporty look ;)
SmetadAnarkist always a good choice 😁
I found a cheaper alternative to hero clip. It's called the 'S' hook. It's a piece of metal with rubber pad end tips. They come in different sizes. Then you can use a caribena to hang your item. 1 Euro for a set of 3 or 4.
Great alternative thanks for sharing. The hero clip is slightly more versatile though if you find yourself in certain situations, the way the heroclip can rotate the hook can be invaluable
I have a 22L backpack. Do you think the small is enough for daily use? (Hanging on table, bathroom, etc). I'm deciding between small and medium. If you could help me out in my decision that would be great
even the mini is enough for simple hanging. I used the mini to hang my 30L bag without any troubles, so small should be fine too
Cool Halloween theme with the black cat 🐱.
Low key halloween lol
For daily edc what size would you recommend? Also, may i know the black backpack you are using in the video. Thanks
I prefer the mini and small sizes personally, and I think they'd suit EDC very well. The backpack is the Topo 30L Travel Bag bit.ly/2YctiCB
@@PackingLess thank you for your feedback. The mini looks small and i initially thought of buying the medium so an object of any size would fit. after watching our video, i'm torn between small of video. Nice backpack!
@@jeyxi The 'small' is probably a good size for you, because its exactly halfway between the medium and mini.
Packing Less alright thanks. But it doesnt slip when you hang it in table given it has smaller size than medium?
Does it has the rubber on the tip when you put on the table so it wont slip?
It does, but its a very hard rubber tip so it doesnt really provide a whole lot of grip on the tables surface
What is the toiletry bag you are showing in this video? (1.28) . im looking for something like this. thanks for all your great videos. all very helpful when shopping for gear. Keep up the good work!
Hey, its the Sea To Summit 'See Pouch' in a size Small ( amzn.to/322w8Hk ) can't seem to find anything to replace it, always come back to it.
@@PackingLess Thanks. I will try to find the See Pouch (im in Europe). BTW, before this Heroclip vid i ordered the copy from WISH.com hoping to find a better price for something very similar. Will report back on findings. At the end of the day, when Wish adds in their crazy post charge, the price difference is not that great. So perhaps i will regret this one. let's see.
clip is too easily opened, lost my first heroclip on my first outing where i attached it to my crossbody sling at a UFC event. i managed to retrieve it however its a terrible experience and poor security of the clip. the flaw is once the clip twist on the attachment point it simply slides off. very expensive for low attachment security. only use when hanging things never use it to carry things in your belt or attach valuables they will be lost
Thats true, they should make a version with a locking mechanism
Is the swivel part made of aluminum as well?
It feels like a kind of composite plastic but has a metal pin in the middle
Is the mini large enough to fit over the top of a door?
Its about 1" or just under 2.5cm, so doors that size or smaller it fits
That cat 🐱 Lol
I wish would have seen this video earlier, I bought the medium, thinking it was in between small and large. Joke’s on me, that thing is huge!
I agree the names are very confusing, but all sizes are quite usable
What size is one you used at 2:00 to hang the bag from the table?
Thats the 'mini' size
@WakandaForevar I cant remember if I'd fully packed it or not but probably around 5kg (11lbs) or so
@@PackingLess no where am i able to get an accurate measurement of the maximum opening when its natural hanging state...and... how thick was that table in your video at the 2 minute mark...some are posting that the mini is to small/tight for some restaurant table counters etc... so that i'm clear in my question, size of opening, when hanging square, ninety degrees to a horizontal surface to determine maximum opening.
@@hdrk1964 The table is 2cm (0.7") thick and the maximum opening in the hook is 3cm (1.1")
Taking notes 📝
What size clip did you use to clip your shoes to your bag.
That’s the mini size
Greetings from Thailand :)
