I think you should have noted an issue with this premium is the grenade launchers are the only unique thing about it. Unless you are dead set on rushing in with the 3 grenade launchers there is no reason to buy aside from being a premium. The regular UH1c gets the same tows also at 8.7.
Too bad those are not GL's. And this makes this machine pretty unique (not meta tho) as you can shoot your GUNS from afar using gunner's sight which no other heli on this br can do. Could make this guide so much more interesting if not "these are just additional useless pieces of kit"

Those are NOT additional grenade launchers, those are autocannons (with a much better ballistics and a decent pen)! Also, the M129 grenade launcher has more penetration than even Ka-50's ground target apds belt, so it absolutely can kill ANY heavy target to the roof, the problem is to hit, otherwise it's a oneshot usually.

HELP PLEASE! I just purchased this helicopter for my 8 y/o son. He’s so excited, but after we bought it, it doesn’t work. It loads up onto the screen but it won’t move. I’ve tried just about every button on the PS5 controller and nothing, yet all the other planes, tanks, helis still work. ANY SUGGESTIONS??? I’ve tried restarting the console too. I use this in the helicopter event And at the end of two games which was almost an hour I made 700,000 silver lions and 70,000 research points and I didn’t even do that good and that’s also without any boosters
Great video Tim! I think ill be waiting to buy it since it's quite expensive. Do you think you could do a review of the Japanese AH-1S Kisarazu? It's the only cobra in the tech tree that has countermeasures.
I find mine good with thermals, and the ccrp with rockets. But countermeasures are almost useless as people gun you down or have beam riding missiles. And Stingers can most of the time ignore flares. Only useful in preventing a lock on
It’s a good backup for the regular UH-1B or C especially if you get 2-3 kills with the first and are shot down you can immediately come back with 6 more missiles instead of going back to rearm. Very strong strat imo. I usually just first spawn in a light tank, get one spotting assist or a kill and immediately take the heli. People don’t expect a missile heli within the first 2-5 minutes of a game so there’s usually no SPAA or aircraft to counter you. Free kills
The radar is absolutely memey sometimes. Sometimes it works, other times it just doesnt. It’s one of my favourite rank 3 US fighter bomber, it lasted me for a long while till I got my F4U-4B for both fighter and CAS
8910 GE is a very steep ask for a marginally unique Rank V helicopter. For that amount of cash I can get the Mi-24P HFS 80, GLYNX, or Mi-28A, all of which are rank VI and far more capable than a copy paste Huey.
Of course I like the look of the Huey, it's iconic and the sound of the blades are distinct. Regardless, the XM-30 is not worth the asking price of nearly 50 dollars as-is. Maybe as a bundle with GE/Premium time, sure. Otherwise, it's a hard sell.

It's the same BR and rank as the tech tree UH-1C though. Honestly, no matter which way I cut it, the XM-30s value proposition is very low due to the steep price, and this is coming from someone who has spent over $2000 in the game already.
Hey Nick would you recommend getting this helicopter to purely grind in helicopter pve? Or would it be better to be patient and grind out helicopters normally?
The only thing that matters in grinding Heli pve is time and score. I made easily 70k rp in one match with 3k score and 2.5 hours in game time, just pop some bases and ground targets and hover in a safe corner of the map from the fighters and go afk for the remaining time. All in all about 1 hour of game time the rest was afk and I made bank.
I dont know if you are aware but the premium apache was moved to isreal, for some resson its not available anymore atm. I hesrd that it was temporary while back but i might be remember wrong. What do you think about that apachi

@@jussi8111 because the first aa did a horrible job and the one that killed him didn't disable him completely in time. Also they were spawncamped at that time, so had no chance to get into a good position. Everything would have killed them. Like the first AA was killed by a tank

Edit: It also says 30mm XM140 cannon in the X-Ray if you equip the cannons in the hangar. You goofed up. You thought the additional cannons were just two more 40mm granade launchers but they are actualy unique 30mm cannons.
Don't buy it. I have it since launch and it basically has obly one advantage over the techtree variant: useless grenade launcher and 30mm gun pods that you'll never use when you want to grind with it. It's better to buy/grind the squadron apache and put a talisman on it
@@quarreneverett4767 when you want to be effective with helucopters you take atgms and the techtree variant of that helixopter has the wxact same atgm loadout. So the only difference/advantage is that you get 30mm gun pids and a grenade launcher, which are both irrelevant when you stay several kilometers away from the battlefield. So it's a copy/paste premium and the squadron apache is better for grinding because it's a better vehicle. And it's way cheaper to just buy a talisman for it :D

Has an odd helicopter behaviour, at 0 coll it feels like it's still at 30 and it is very stiff and hard to rotate till you get under 100kph. Others can yaw at higher speeds. The a129 has excessive dragg for the same ffar's the Cobra gets. -71kph vs -12kph. Flight models need attention.
Yep, that's because helicopters use a prototype modified prop plane flight model. In other words the tail rotor is mainly visual and torque doesn't exist for reasons only the Snail knows. From what I know translational lift and the bit of drift to one side come from invisible wings that are part of the flight model and no other type of model.
Was hoping you would talk more about the only thing that makes this interesting: the 30mm cannons. Otherwise there's really nothing special about this. Fairly disappointing review. Additionally, they're 30mm cannons, not duplicates of the 40mm grenade launchers. I have never said this before about any of your videos, but I'd re-do this one.
