I've been waiting forever to hear your documented stories so long; I hope you have more coming.... You're so cool....ty ..❤❤❤ ya'...!! So much quieter than Charlie even; keeping it all in...
What I find ridiculous about the people back then is that it was not the first time that men had worn long hair in history, particularly not in EUROPE so what was the big deal?
Long hair, wild clothes....Fact,in '63 the Stones werent THAT different to your average blues beatnicks visually or rebelliosly.Musicaly they were always distinctive. But untill Oldham(after initially trying to get them to be more 'pop'conventinal) decided to play it up their 'image' was student run of the mill.
C'mon Bill, the stones manager Andrew was feeding the media all those stories along with the headlines and the stones went along with the hype and the antics. The media loved it and ate that crap up to sell their papers. The parents hated it and the kids bought the tickets and records as they were targeted too.
Bill an ordinary working class lad did very well meeting the youthful and bratty kids called Brian Mick and Keith. A mere bass player who followed what the others dictated. On stage wooden shy boring and as a bass player replaceable. Equivalent to a session player...Paid a wage in the band for many years. Hasnt he done well! Fame..money... owning nice houses..treated like royalty wherever he goes....females throwing themselves at him when younger..he cant complain
Bill Wyman, perhaps the coolest Rolling Stone, who knew when to quit while your ahead.
Simply my favorite Stone.
I love listening to Bill hes like a big brother telling you about the old day LOL
Bill's a great narrator.
