Sadly the bubble room on Captiva was hit extremely hard during Ian. They managed to survive Charlie in ‘04 but most of the island was wiped out this time. It’s sad because I had so many family memories going there for birthdays for over 20 years, I even had my first drink there. Plus! their red velvet cake was the best 😔 Fortunately the owners seem to be selling the cakes online to bring the place back. If anyone wants delicious cake and to support a local favorite, please consider ordering from them. Maybe even a reaction?

Noooo! That's upsetting to hear -- I was just there last year. I feel like the video they reacted to didn't really capture how bizarre that place actually is. I hope the owners are able to bring it back!

@@ChrisVuletich Yeah there’s really so much to see that the video didn’t cover. It’s kitschy in the best way! And their bubble bread was to die for. Hopefully they’ll be able to rebuild and reopen but I’m sure it’ll be a year before we see any improvement. The islands barely have electricity and internet yet, let alone the ability to bring contractors to work on non-essential buildings

The owner of the Heart Attack Grill is a good man with positive intentions. His entire message is _Please don't purchase what I sell because it will kill you_ and he's rich because people keep buying it regardless. He started out running a health food store that went broke and started this business out of frustration.

Years ago when I used to go to a laundromat regularly I thought it would be a great idea to have a small pub right inside one. The one I went to had a bar right next door, so I would put the wash in, drink 2 beers, go over and switch it to the dryer, then head back to the bar for 4 or 5 more. It actually made doing laundry fun and I would come up with excuses to do it.

I went to Medieval Times in Kissimmee, Florida, long ago with my family when I lived in Orlando. They give you a paper crown to wear and a name for a knight you support and cheer for. They do not provide utensils unless you ask for them, so you can use your hands or silverware for the food. I just checked the prices for admittance to that place. It's very pricey per person; for adults, it's $69.95, and for children is $39.95. I had a fun time going there, but you will feel a big hole in your wallet from all that money being spent on that expensive meal and show. There are nine Medieval Times restaurants in different states and one in Toronto, Canada.

Los Angeles used to have a restaurant called Crackers. It was just wild all night. The "floor" show was about 2 hours of unconnected routines. One minute a Viking woman would come out singing opera and sitting on a customers lap (usually a bald male). Then out of nowhere would be someone carrying 20 pizza boxes and the whole place would break into "What's a Matter you" or a little person walking around dressed like Charlie Chaplin silently goosing people and at the end of every show a huge flag would come down from the ceiling and Everyone in the place stood and sang the Star Spangled Banner. Audience participation was mandatory on the first floor and usually done on the second balcony floor as well. No one was immune and the place was always packed. I miss bringing out of town trainees there when I was a training instructor.

Heart attack? For those who have given up. It is a pity that they do not think about their loved ones or about themselves.
I like the idea of this restaurant where there are knight fights. When it comes to dishes, they can serve anything. The most exquisite dishes.
