I'm beyond irritated with my above ground pool experience, I've been leveling my ground by hand on and off for a few months now and the first time I filled the pool a bit i noticed some sections where it was 3" off level so I drained it and did it again and got everything within 1" and I filled it up to 24" inches now and noticed that not all the legs are getting force to push the liner outward, only the spot that is lowest compared to all the rest. 3/4 of the pool is 24" and one is about 25", that section is nice and firm into the wood boards I have it setting on. The other legs have virtually no weight and I can easily lift them...:(

There are some recommendations I’ve read that say not to use sand for leveling. Have you noticed any issues with sand as a leveler? We purchased the same exact pool.
jody willis we leveled our ground under the sand for our first pool and found that it was not comfortable because of small irregularities and rocks sticking up. We put down a layer of sand just to fill in the gaps and put a buffer between the hard ground and the bottom of the pool. It is 100% more comfortable this go round! I would not recommend using sand to level out the ground as it would likely move or get washed out, but once you get it fairly level, it makes a great base for the pool to rest on.

Kimberly Segura I think it’s like 15,000gal
Hurricane Homestead really I thought it was 10,800 the whole time
I'm beyond irritated with my above ground pool experience, I've been leveling my ground by hand on and off for a few months now and the first time I filled the pool a bit i noticed some sections where it was 3" off level so I drained it and did it again and got everything within 1" and I filled it up to 24" inches now and noticed that not all the legs are getting force to push the liner outward, only the spot that is lowest compared to all the rest. 3/4 of the pool is 24" and one is about 25", that section is nice and firm into the wood boards I have it setting on. The other legs have virtually no weight and I can easily lift them...:(
Have you seen my video on how I got my pool leveled after it settled a couple inches!
@@HurricaneHomestead Thanks I watched it and raised up the low spots and now its firm :)
My grandma have the same pool we going in at saterdayvit going to be a pool party😁😆
Sounds like you're gonna have a bunch of fun!
I hav the same one
Wow 😍😍😍😍😘😘😘
My mom wants the 18ft version and of course the price has literally doubled🙃.
Yeah they are not cheep. I did see a different version at Walmart for around $300 bucks though.
do you know where to buy any parts for this pool. one of the elbows at the bottom of the filter encasing broke and i cant find it anywhere
Not sure exactly which part you are needing there, but Amazon has a lot of spare parts that we have had success with in the past. Here's an affiliate link to a bunch of the extra pool parts, pumps and hoses amzn.to/2EnLM9X
Great video! We just bought the same pool. It’s still in the box. How many support posts are there and how far apart are they from each other? Thanks!
Shawn Fitzpatrick I don't remember exactly how many supports, but I think there are 22. Don't quote me on that one though. and they each sit between 2-3 feet apart from each other.
@@HurricaneHomestead did you use pavers under every support leg,
Where’s the ground cloth!?
Use toilet plunger to get out the wrinkles.
Kat Finamore thanks! That’s sounds like a great little hack. Probably want to use a new one? Just thinking. Ha ha!
Cant believe he went up the side of the box with a stanley knife. That could have been a disaster
What can I say, I’ve got mad skills with a blade.
Lmfaoo I cringed
I assume you have well water? what do you use to combat the iron?
ashley _projects we have a water softener and filter system. We tested the water before treating it and it showed that the water was a little too soft.
How much sand did u use
1 ton or two truck loads full.
are you on a well? I just bought the same pool and worried about killing my well pump filling it.
Local fire departments will fill it in an hour or 2 for 60-100 bucks
can you link this
I Hope want Like this pool
We leveled the ground first, then added sand to help smooth things out. 2×4 and a level works great!
Stonedust not sand. Then tarp and foam board.
Where does the part that says "open , close" go? I cant figure it out and the instructions are horrible
It goes on the end of the A hose so you can turn it off when you need to change the filter.
@@HurricaneHomestead we have that on there now but theres another part that says open close as well. Maybe i wasnt suppose to get it?
Whered you buy it? They're all sold out
that one gamer we bought ours from Walmart before the rush, they’re all gone now.
Check offer up a lot if people are selling them new in the box
Nice dog what is his name
Qatari Man the blue merle Australian Shepard is coal. The darker aussie/golden retriever is Harvey. They are both great dogs, but we joke that Harvey is the stupid one.
Wow
How much ?
How much money is that
Rose Esther it was about $600 from Walmart, but I break down some of the other costs involved in my pool review video m.ua-cam.com/video/rdk3ZokYCiY/v-deo.html

Never use sand man to level a pool people do this all the time guys sand shifts and it gets wet are moisture
It has seemed to hold up really well for us. It has been so much better than the just having hard ground that we had under our last pool.

What wrong with a inground pool
Anna.gamesplay some friends of ours had an in-ground pool installed about 7 miles down the road.
Ok
The windows leaked for me
Really! I'll have to keep an eye on that. We've not had any trouble with it yet.
@@HurricaneHomestead it happened to me like a week or a month
