What you're doing here Jeff has been a great reprieve from the boredom that we have to deal with because of keeping distance with this viral crap going on... Corey's stuff ( He's the MAN!) has been a blast too... I hope to get to NYC someday and watch you play again once restrictions ease... Stay safe...
Jeff, one of my challenges is building and remembering a chord library across the fretboard. I keep going back to the same basic stuff. What are suggestions for methodically adding chords to the arsenal?
Yet again, thanks a bunch for a great lecture. The fact that you are honest about the fears and difficulties you had, when honing your skills, is incredible valuable and encouraging for an aspiring musician like me.
This was the best video in the world for where I'm at right now as a player. So I want to say thank you Jeff for everything you are doing for those of us who just haven't yet "got it" quite right, just yet. By watching this 1 video a lot of things began clicking in my mind. This will definitely help me, not only liven up my pentatonics, but possibly be the 1st building block into finally being able to break out & away from the pentatonics. If you are able to share any more along these lines I will be forever grateful for your help and support. God bless you & your family.
Hey Jeff, do you ever use a wireless system? I have been investigating getting a good quality one from Shure for home use. What with you getting caught up in your cable with the chair I thought it would be a good time to ask. Thank you very much.
Great stuff. I somewhat disagree about CAGED. Those shapes come in very handy when I'm hunting for chord tones on the fly at all positions on the neck.

Thanks man! I hope you are doing well!
You are a terrific teacher Jeff, thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you and you are most welcome!

I haven’t but there are some great units out there. That’s a good idea...
The notes A an E are pure blues, does anything feel better ? Go Jeff 💙

I understand, but at the end of the day, you still want to just know the notes. It’s very popular but it helps to a point.
Great lesson!!! I wish I could have caught it live. The dropbox link is for a picture and not the backing track.
Hey! Try again, I fixed it a few days ago. And checked it again just now and it works.
"...not mad at you ..." :)
