I think it made sense back in Altair's time, when the worshipers all wore very similar robes and they were all over the place. Ezio probably wears it for the sake of tradition.

@Emanuele_Polisena I think they should've done a Desmond Collection that way we could've had an entire remastered Desmond story in one thing instead of it being just the Ezio parts of his story. Would be awesome to play an actual remastered version of all 5 of his games back to back.

Assassins creed 2 is quite possibly the most beutiful game ever made. And by far the greatest soundtrack in a videogame.
Brotherhood Ezio will always be my favorite look. Whenever I think of Ezio, that’s the first one that pops in my head.
I feel like they all suit him in the different parts of his life.
Ac 2 he is young and trying to follow his father's footsteps as an assassin with second hand robes, which is also probably more manoeuvrable than the other cos the coat isn't as long.
Brotherhood during his prime where he finds his own path, most iconic outfit of his and looks the best imo.
Then revelations where he is old but still a bad@ss, plus it needed to fit in the Turkish environment.
But Brotherhoods outfit will always be my favourite.

In my eyes it ruins the outfit I usually don't get any of the armour for ac 2( excluding boots because you are forced to do it ) since I just love the robes so much
that was honestly my least favorite part
I dont remember much of the mechanics of those older games, it's been years since I played them. I do remember that I just loved ac2 and the follow up games were satisfying. black flag was maybe my favorite. I was so excited when the original game came out, and it was amazing at the time. I've bought every ac game since.

AC2: Ezio’s suit reflects his father’s legacy and the weight he carries. It also represents his young age yet also the adult demeanor he was forced to take up and later decided to.
AC Brotherhood: Ezio become his own man. Refined, steady, and in his prime. Ezio has grown far past the young boy that was forced to flee Firenze.
AC Revelations: Ezio is wise, experienced, yet still young at heart. Ezio might be an old dog on the outside, but coming to the end of hos prime, he still finds new ways to learn and adapt.
The 3 suits and how they change in my opinion reflect the character arch of the Italian Assassino we all know and love. Ezio was wise, humble, kind, and just, yet he always found way to better himself. Well freaking written plot right there🤌

I love how they invented an exciting light rendering in brotherhood so ezio's robe reflects light and becomes perfectly white and that's beautiful
That's tough cause I'm partial to the Brotherhood look as that game was my first exposure to the franchise. But looking at it now I'd have to say his Revelations look. It's more subtle with the darker hood and cloak so you feel like you blend in better. Not to mention Ezio aged like FIIIIINE wine! The beard and slicked back hair is just....MMMMM!! 😌👌💖

I have a soft spot for Revalatons Ezio. Its unlike his previous armor because he was given clothes from the people living in Acre when he was on the rosd to Masayaf. Fits his role as mentor perfectly.

Brotherhood has more drip which appeals to a wider range
AC2 is his fathers outfit which was passed down to him. AC Brotherhood has the assassins recognize Ezio as one of them and granted him his own unique outfit that was based similar to his fathers but also different to show that is is Ezio and not his father who wears it.
It's the outfit he wore for most of his life, so I could agree.
His peak was during brotherhood though, so maybe you'd want to portray him in his best, rather than what he looked like most of the time.

I just finished the Ezio trilogy and I think I have the same stance I did almost 15 years ago: his look in revelations is top-notch. The brotherhood look is awesome, but the dark outfit with the gray beard and everything is just chefs kiss.

Though I was introduced to a second suit, the third one seems more apt to his character. Given the fact that most assassins ran around in tight tunics to begin with, Ezio’s hood and cape distinguishes him as a mentor and shows what a true assassin is. Aside from the classic white and red in Rome, he’s able to change up the same attire to blend in with the crowds but also keep to his own sense of style, ever changing with the separate districts of the city. He can move about the place with ease and carry out what the order asks of him, away from his father’s legacy and before he became an old man. The prime part of him as a man of many talents, who made his mark on the European world and toppled the very enemies who took his family members all those years ago.
