It does. You just gotta practice. But I'm telling you it works. Back shoulder throws. Throwing away from the defense. Deep comebacks where you can leave it short for the wr to come back to the ball. You can literally make the throws to where either your guy can catch it or noone can.

I STG. I had a corner beat by 5 years and I free formed and somehow the corner ended up in front of my receiver on a 30 yard streak when it was all said and done and picked me. Shit is just bad game mechanics
For everybody saying that it is the same as classic passing, it is not. Freeform passing extends the range you can lead a receiver. The con is that you can over lead them, i.e. throw it it where they can’t even get to it. I’m not convinced Freeform passing is the way to go because I think you can get the job done more consistently with less risk in classic passing. But they are not the same. And someone that can master the steeper learning curve of Freeform passing will have an advantage in the long run.
I wanna believe this but every time I throw a post an the reciever has his man beat, with Classic passing, they let the defense uncut the ball. EVERYTIME
@@chulow9024 you have to consider how fast is your receiver, how fast is the CB.. that matters. Are they in a zone or man?? It's all about the timing. Is the CB in press coverage?? Is the corner playing inside or outside?? When you see the CB hips turn, throw it.. consider arm strength on the QB, accuracy.
Free form is only good if you’re consistent at it, that would take a natural or person who gets on the game to get better and win, all the others with any type or types of adhd won’t be able to do it consistently due to the the inability to “watch film” in any capacity making it overall for the player base a trash mechanic.

Jk, Madden added some random stuff where it add penalty to your throws so that you throw a incompletion once and a while no matter what

Its the same as directional passong with the L anolog since madden 08 but it aint as accurate to make it harder
It’s actually easier with the passing cone from Madden 06.
