One early morning I was driving past the beach.
The waves were so pretty, I stopped for a bit.
I made a quick sand castle.
That's a thing I like doing. I've filmed a few, but nothing serious...
I've just casually "hit record"...
Thinking about it…
Some family members no longer live near the ocean, …
… Each year we take our short vacation near the ocean, to enjoy the sound of the sea.
BUT that's only for a week…
… Then it struck me, I'm so near the ocean.
I REALLY should make a short video of the ocean waves from time to time.
So I decided to make short videos , and even perhaps long videos of Ocean Waves.
... and sand castles.
Maybe quiet relaxing peaceful scenes of meadows, rain forest, streams and rivers, rainy day pitter patter sounds, campfire videos, and crickets … (on my other channel...)
These are good for relaxation, study, concentration .

yes I'm quite jealous each time I watch you and your wonderful families play in your perfect powder sand!
The spectacular structures you're able to command from the sand are just amazing!
In the meanwhile, I have to work with what I have here… :-)
For me, it's not so much about the Sandcastle, as it's just getting out there, borrowing from the beach, and watching it washed away, giving me a fresh start for the next time! Although I am convinced, that I will improve through time and practice. And watching your techniques !
I'm going to be, sort of, "building a story around the castles"… :-)

@@SandCastleMania Hey there Sandcastle Mania!! - thank you for the kind words - means a lot as our only job is to show the happiness that sand provides by building sandcastles wherever they are, and whatever they may look like. You have got a tough spot but try using a screen beforehand or over the buckets as you fill them - it really helps and you can make one with the free lid you get with the big buckets... Also, try looking around at different locations as sand varies A LOT - especially where rivers or tributaries flow in as they can carry lots of lovely clay and silt which really helps course sand building.
