I really enjoyed your video. There is a small tab on the trigger assembly that is bent at the factory to bind the rekord trigger in place. That’s why it was so tight. Thanks for sharing.
That's a great little gun I got like 3 weihrauch guns I don't even know what models they are lol in one of my storage unites I got to go dig em out some time I really don't know what all I got in there anymore been so long ago lol but that's a good little gun the hw 50 s
It is absolutely correct not to dry fire a springer! Indeed this would damage the "power plant" hence ruin the gun itself so kudos to you that you picked up on the warning! Btw. after every three or four sessions I like to dab down my whole rifle with some Ballistol just with my finger (because a cloth would absorb the oil). This includes shaft and butt. This oil takes care of the wood and also maintains the bluing of the metal and most important, it prevents flash rust. It is also dermatologically tested and is actually good for the skin. It could even be used as massage oil.
Nice video. Just received an HW95 today. Cleaned the barrel and all the extra grease off the spring/ cocking arm assembly. Scoped and sighted it in. Maybe 60rds shot today. Sure hope she smooths out. Kinda gritty, groups well tho with the 3 brands of pellets I tried today. Will measure and adjust trigger later in week.
I also have a 1979 FWB 124D rifle. My rifle was bought via Air Rifle Headquarters (original ARH) in the spring of 1979. What is the serial number of your FWB 124, and the point of purchase? Thanks, a fellow air gunner from way back.
Hallo i have a 97k, my trigger ajustment screw keeps coming lose UA-cam can see it Turning a bit every 10 shots. What can i do about this also i Fired like 2500 shots now wen i Just got the rifle the reciol was east to shoot with a twang, now there is no twang and the rifle is harder to shoot you really have to grip the front then groups are still good about as big as 10eu cent a bit strange a liked the relaxed shooting with no reciol. Pleas help
@@WalnutandSteel i think of doing That but then i cant ajust, also i strange That the rifle shoot harder recoil is more after 2500 shots and the Weihrauch twange is gone before is was easy to shoot now you really have to hold the rifle almost like a magnum springer.
My trigger screw is really lose after i soften it - it unscrew after a few shots. It is safe to unscrew the whole screw and apply some thread locker on it? Or i will break something after completely unscrewing the screw? Thank you for the video Walnut.
Yes! turn it in a turn or so too they can go off if too loose, I just straightened the barrel on a HW35k last year for a guy that it had happened to, checked the big weight screw & it fell out with my fingers touch! Do it with the action upside down as there is a small spring behind the screw that can fall out & get lost.

Quite correct, do not dry fire. It will damage the piston seal, and it can break the spring two coils from the end of the spring top end. Nice video.
Better take the trigger guard of , with small screw drivers you will damage the aluminium set screw easely.
Thanks for sharing. HW50s is my favorite
Very good.
Simple and explanatory.
Wish other creators would take the same approach instead of waffling on forever.

Sounds like a sweet shooter!
Un Maestro como UD. Necesitamos aquí .en España .
It's on it's way bud
I need to adjust the trigger on my R1. But I do not have trigger gauge.
I used to adjust mine for the best feel. Before I got a trigger scale. Just don’t go too light
Question, why they call it HW 50S but they stamp it HW 50 on the barrel? Thanks
Now I really wonder the weight of my cheaper guns triggers 😁
Im sad I couldnt find a diana 240 too these things are getting rare 🇨🇦
The premier pellets are almost unusable in my rifles. All over the place huge groups. Other brands workgood

Quelle est le type de viseur que vous avez monté?
What do you mean by viewfinder?
@@WalnutandSteel Un viseur dioptre? est-ce facile pour une personne hypermétrope? Comment cela fonctionne-t-il? Thanks!

Maybe a little dab of light duty thread locker on the adjuster screw?

Can you talk about your rear sight please
It originally came with my weihrauch hw660m 22lr rifle. Adjustable iris. Other than that I don’t know much else

I have a HW 55 m is it the same as this one does any one know.
The 55 appears to be more of a dedicated target gun where the 50 is more of a sporter.
so the answer is no, not the same but still good.
Why do people keep repeating themselves over and over again !
