I have an idea. The wick could be made out of welders mat aka carbon felt. Robert Murray Smith UA-cam channel has experimented with it and I made it and it works. He said the wick would last forever and it makes sense. Anyways I was thinking if incorporated that idea with yours it would make a better product.

20ma is not pure voltage but you get my point , 12v sent into 2000 ohm coil puts load at 6ma
