Bass players in 2020: Synth bEhs...
8o8
Bien❤
What's the problem
@@NovaAbstractNothing like playing a real bass...
@@a_bored_english_guyyeah, its a conpletely different instrument that serves a similar purpose and allows for more tonal diversity. You could say the same about keyboardists moving from piano to synth or organ. Yet nobody is complaining about keyboardists playing multiple related instruments.
Classical wind players have been switching instruments to fit the needs of the piece for hundreds of years, yet nobody complains about that.
That upright sounded really good!
What you takling about the 2010 is ware it is at
still sounds good btw
Low-Key Slaps
But ye i love me a good upright

I LOVE THAT SONG
The second I listened to the intro I loved it
The 1970's was Free "Alright Now", classic song.
Thanks a lot, bro. I couldn't recognize what it was and saw your comment. It is a classic. Lol 🤙🏼🤘🏼
Answered my question before I could ask it. Thanks from a 62 year old whose memory is going
Thank you. It wasn't coming back to me.

I wanna be adored 😜
And why is he in front of Salford Lads Club? That Smiths were done by the 90s.
The 70s and 80s hair fits you well my friend 😂😂😂
ya...disco was well dead by the early 80s. It was Duran Duran, or metal.
@@spunkybrewster1972sure whatever you say 😂
oh shit! I replied to the wrong comment! Carry on...😅🤐😅
@@spunkybrewster1972 🤙🏾😅 Orale
It took the 80s a lot longer to figure out what the 80s were going to be. the 80s billboard charts were a desolate landscape of soft rock for the first couple years of the decade. @@spunkybrewster1972
The 90s :
I don't have to sell my soul, it's only in me.....
I was hoping for him to be Krist jumping around
I wanna be adooored
@@alexis.0569 Yes, it is!!!
Thanks for saying which song it was! It was so familiar but I just couldn't place it. I need to listen to the Stone Roses more. I love She Bangs The Drums
I wanna I wanna
Why is the 80s one Disco ? That’s more of a 70s deal
My forbidden lover by Chic
A lot of disco songs were still being produced into the early 80s
@@Bluman2 right but not typical of the time period at all.
@@Matchaddict82 I think for the year 1980 itself this is a good reputation, I mean bands like earth wind and fire and Kool and the gang were making heavily disco-inspired hits even further into the 80s
@@Bluman2 right but that’s not the general sound associated with the 80s… people were still making hippy music in the 80s too it doesn’t mean that’s the standard
Day 8 of asking for Les Claypool’s Behs tone (continuing it for Alex)
Day 2 of replay to you
Day 2 of saying I love claypools tone
day 8 of seconding this opinion
He has a ton of different tones, plays a ton of different basses, that’s like asking what a human looks like
Bro got that “😁” smile 💀💀💀
My forbidden lover 1980. Bernard Edwards
Should have been cliff
Thank you for including Foot Tapper by The Shadows, one of my favourite songs
Thanks, Bro! I was just looking for this song
For 1980's I thought of Cliff Burton.
I WANNAAAA BE ADOREEEEEEED !!!!!!
That 2010 one was cruel 😂
John Entwistle would like a word if you have a moment.
That breakdown/bass solo from "All Right Now" is sooo epic!
I love how you picked Foot Tapper for the 60s, and with the Shadows-like bass too! :)))
whats the name of the song?
@@mike04574 'Foot Tapper' by the Shadows
Excellent!
The 70’s song come from a band that i love!

Motörhead has left the chat
Late 80s early 90s the stone roses mani with his painted ricky behs
Craig made an appearance. Always good to see him.
Love the Andy Fraser bassline from All Right Now
1950 and 60 are best
In 60s you can do Stand by Me
I like the face expression 😂
Your stuff is getting better and better 🎉
Damn.
First one, had me wanting to do the Stray Cat Strut.
Love. The stand up, My favorite❤😊
The 70s one, All right now by Free
That was the best one!😊
History of the Birth of the Bass Guitar 🎸 priceless memories
I do love 50’s to 80’s. The 50’s are actually underrated and often overlooked tbh.
Bernard Edwards is my favourite bass player along with Louis Johnson and verdine white.
Bass players in 2000 hit home hard, thankfully 1970 saved the day
Going to have to play ALL my Free albums today😅
Hey my favorite 1960. And yeah FREE Alright Now for 1970!❤
You put a disco background behind the 1980 😂
This was really funny!Didn't get the 2030 one though
I feel like 1960 would’ve been a bit more accurate if a Hofner Violin Bass was used
That was so entertaining 🎉i love 1980 🎉❤
Love that Salford Lads Club is included in this. Huge part of my city. Much love from Salford!
I love 60s😊
This guy's voice cracks me up everytime 😂
Love this.❤
this is actually accurate
Bass players in 1950:when will this G I N O R M O U S madness end
1990s bass riff is from I wanna be adored by the stone roses if anyone was wondering
My buddy and I have been doing this joke since the 90s, but with drumming.
The "big sigh" ain't just for bassists. 😂🥁
Woo Hoo, good ones! Lol, thanks!
Love the 60s outfit, pure style
I don't play bass but I'm really enjoying watching these clips!
Bro rick rolled us and thought we wouldn't notice
Bass player in 1950s was the same as 1980s for me, since I was into the Stray Cats. Is the 1990s bit the opening to "I Want To Be Adored?"
Bass Players in 2023 Royal Blood
How crazy is it that less than two seconds, that was obviously the beginning of "I want to be adored"?!
Your best video yet!
Bass players in 1980: Flea:oh you got it all wrong
the lack of slapping was a welcome change
Great, just great! 😂👍🏻
These are rock musicians, jazz and r&b in the 50’s-70’s were killing it.
You are good man.
1960: I unironically love the fake "I'm just doing my job here and part of that job is to look vaguely enthused" -smile
I have looked like the 70s since the 70s.
You should have shown a bit more of the 2030 bass player. It's epic
Michael Anthony of Van Halen has something to say 😂
I love your sense of humor I lol
Yeeerrrrrrrrrsssssss. I have the same Kennedy's T-shirt
Bass players in 2014: because you know i'm all about tha-
Where Paul ? The Beatles ? ICONIC hofner violin
WE HAVE TO GO BACKKKKK lol
I love it! Bring back the groove Baby!
That Motorhead robot shit is so cool. If only I could buy a robot drummer. At least he would show up to practice!
The 1980 guy is a few years off.
Disco ended unofficially around 1979. The 80s were mostly about New Wave (or Neo-Punk)... The Cars, The Police, Duran Duran, U2, DEVO, The Go-Gos, Madonna, etc...
i wanna be adored❤
I'm glad we evolve
Bass players from 1970 like Geezer Butler, Klaus Voorman, John Ox Entwistle, Les Claypool, Geddy Lee, John Paul Jones and John Deacon and 1980s ones like Steve Harris, Cliff Burton, John Myung and David Ellefson didn't appreciate how unfair and misconsiderating this meme is 😢
This bloke is hilarious!
Yet very entertaining!
Bass players in 1990: *Longview starts playing*
Shout out to Danny for time traveling to 2030 to see BeHS
I'm digging that 1970s song

60s one sounded like D'yer Mak'er by led zeplin but know it's probably something else
Duuuude!
That shiny red/maroon Jazz Bass!
Me rikey!
Average 70’s bass players: lol these lines are so easy
Jaco:
70s/80s were peak bass.
Let’s bring back the 1950’s those behs players had it going on!

He did the Ian brown fase
Holy crap, so accurate. Awesome short.
