Nope but a few people have suggested it makes cleaning easier - so I'll give it a try on an upcoming cleaning. What do you use for the dry brush? Toothbrush?
SORRY GUY, BUT YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CLEAN A GUN....USE A SPRAY TO GET YOUR FLUIDS ON THE GUN AND A PIC TO GET OUT THE CARBON AROUND THE FEED RAMP AND EJECTOR PLUS RUN ALL RODS THROUGH THE BREACH END OF THE BARREL NOT THE MUZZEL.....ALSO WEAR GLOVES !
You got to remember it's not broken in yet. They shoot it a couple times to make sure it works as a factory and you're going to have stuff highs and lows and it's not a case. Blue hardening that's really not wear marks. You have to break in marks. Is everything matching itself up to it and and another thing, you really should use a different bore brush. You want one that's got a swivel on it so when you push it through the brush turns with the rifling. That's my opinion, but whatever
I probably don't want this but I want to give you suggestion next time you put the brush through wet down and take a patch, rub it around it and then give it away down. That way you get benefits of the brush and it kind of protects the inside of the barrel a little bit and gives a little lubrication as you're doing it. That's all I got to say about that
@@DaGunGuy I forgot the one that I have is a security 9 compact. That's why it's about the same size that the racket. It's really not that much more. Very doable

If you really want to slide nice and smooth, get Lucas gun oil comes in a love bottle with an applicator kind of like a syringe tip is kind of expensive but you only use a couple drops here there in yonder on the rails and any place that you see where you put a little bit on there and it stays there. It doesn't dry into the into the gun so you got that lubrication all the time until he gets really dirty. But it does help get it clean faster and better. Just Lucas gun oil comes in a 1 oz bottle. You use one. Maybe two drops. Just joking real good and just run it down the rails and stuff. I know I'm a pain in the butt

I have this gun and trust it with my life ❤
i am happy for you
Good videos. I subscribed. Thanks for the review and range time!
Love the videos!
You don't remove as much excess gunk as possible with a dry cloth and Q-tip before using the cleaning fluid?

@@DaGunGuy -- An old toothbrush is good, particularly if it is a smaller (child-sized) one. A toothpick also helps for tight spaces.

Do they offer this pistol in any other caliber?
They have a security 9mm but I don’t believe it has the easy rack or soft recoil.
They make a security nine which is approximately the same size. But it's a little heftier and it's really about the same price. Very reasonable priced
They have a security 9 - but without the ez rack.
@@DaGunGuy recoil is not really that bad on it. It's a little stiffer but it's not as bad as you would think it would be

There is a reason range ammo is cheap, it can get things a little dirtier than pricier defensive ammo. 😊
Good job Chief!!

I presume you oiled it before you used it and cleaned it a little bit before you used it
