@@PTGKChrisHD So initially this was bought off a seller on eBay because they were only showing up near California, Texas and Colorado. Wasn't gonna be where I'm at (Maine) anytime soon. However, I later stumbled upon one at my local Walmart! They are showing up at both Walmart and Target more readily :)
@Futile_Exile thanks for letting me know. I am in California but i can't seem to find the Black Suit Spider-Man as well as Both Wolverine 1:6 Scale Figures
I am on the fence on this but your video sold me on the figure. Hasbro still has the Marvel master license so McFarlane was able to get a Marvel license for 1:6 and 1:10 non articulated figures with a base. It caught me by surprised a bit because DIamond Select has been doing their Gallery statues with Marvel characters. But THose are 8", 1/9 I guess.
Definitely worth owning! I have a few of the Diamond Select statues and they're pretty decent overall. Despite how good those are at times, It's still so cool the licensing deal McFarlane has worked out with Marvel! These statues based on older comic covers are hitting the nostalgia with a lot of authentic charm :)
@@Futile_Exile I saw the black spidey available at Gamestop Canada and placed an order. TOday they switch it to a pre-order and pushed the date to November.... Grr.... there are been constant delays with McFarlane stuff in Canada
So, the original Red and Blue suit statue was out first. Then before it was announced, this black costume variant was popping up in some parts of the US unexpectedly. During that initial two week phase this was referred to as a chase because of the rarity and lack of any information, just what people were going off of on eBay listings :)
Do you have any problems with the web peg that goes into the pipe and the blue peg on the left foot? Also do you recommend putting the metal all the way into the back or just enough to hold the figure?
@@jchanh Those two pegs were hard to position, so it was a bit frustrating. As for the metal pole, when I inserted it, I kinda pushed down perhaps too hard and it clicked into place correctly but I was nervous I broke something. Apparently it's all good!
@@Futile_Exile I readjusted mine and it looks good now.. the pipe came loose so I was able to twist the web peg in and reattach the pipe to the base.. 🤭
@@Blinkx117x Yes, I hope the close ups I provided helped out so you could see that. I think it's a solid B figure. They didn't go the extra mile to smooth out the black lines around the eyes and the embossed areas such as the boot cut. The white spider paint looks really sharp and accurate though. I like the darker blueish hue highlights too :)
I scored one at my Walmart had no idea it was a chase I have not opened it yet I really wanted the reprint inside couldn’t help myself now I don’t wanna open it 😹 I like the packaging. The Comic Cover on the side is🔥
Picked it up off of ebay for about $80 (including shipping). Yesterday, randomly found it at Target for about $45 (with $5 coupon).
@@XXCobraCommanderXX Those both are pretty reasonable prices! Good score, friend :)
Where did you buy your Figure? Wal-Mart? Target? Best Buy? GameStop?

Walmart for 50 bucks, they had four of them.
@@whomenever8678 Yes, after 3 months of scarcity they're popping up more. I bought a second one for $50 to display in the box :)
just found one on the shelf at Target in Houston
@@bcon3114 That's awesome!
Curious as to why the reprint has issue #300 on the cover but it’s actually #299. Was that purely for display purposes?
It's peculiar they went with that but I think you're right, likely for display purposes 🤔
Great video! I managed to get one myself just when they stocked a couple at my local Wal-Mart.
I'm glad you found it! They're sure to fly off the shelves right away :)

I thought this was Keanu 😂 subscribed
@@GriseldaFlacco That's some high praise! Thank you!
I found mine at Walmart in Iowa. I myself would like to know more info. Thank you for making this video!
I'm glad you found yours out in the wild! I live in Maine so there's no knowing when it would pop up around here. Thanks for watching! :)
Why didn't you show the comic really
@@DDDhorus Ah, good point. I tried to be thorough in other ways. It's a nice reprinted issue, though! :)
@Futile_Exile yeah people are buying this just for the comic, like myself. It's unique because it's 300 cover and 299 inside! The statue is cool too
I found one at a local Wal-Mart in Illinois they only had two there I had to get one its pretty awesome.
I'm glad you found it for the retail price! That's a score!
I am not usually into toys, more into comics and cards, but that one is super cool. Nice shirt, where did you get it?
Thanks for checking the video out! I got the shirt from Target :)
What makes it a chase vs normal?

Found one at Walmart and bought it for $50 didn't even know it was a chase just liked it was black suit spiderman
Yes! They're finally popping up more in stores! I did finally see one at my local Walmart as well :)
I found one in Virginia today.
Awesome!
I wanted this but I hate that it's just a cheap repainting and it looks pretty bad. I think I'm going to pass on this.
