I've got a RX-78 Gundam made for Shorikai, and an alternate Amuro Ray of Kotori, with Raff Capashen alter that is Bright Noah, on cardsmith that I'm going to have printed in foil

It kinda reminds me of the Armored Core series with how angular the mech is
Growing up in the 90's I'm huge fan of Gundam specially wing zero 😅....now I gotta build this deck with alter's and all 😜..loved the vid!!!
As fan of Mech's and a sweaty player... I'm pretty stocked that this is on its way... white and blue has great artifact synergies, tutors etc... making it really easily to win with dramatic reversal + isochron scepter being able to draw half your deck and discord the other half. Amongst other fancy playes...
I think Tameshi Reality Architect is an underated card in the Mech Deck. I actually turned it into my Mech Deck commander and leaned into the artifact/enchantment side but it would also go great in the 99 to get stuff back from the grave.
Here's a few cards I've added to my to my collection to build around the Genesis Engine:
- Armed & Armored: (c)(w) Instant. Vehicles you control become Artifact Creatures until the end of turn $0.23
- Throne of the God-Pharaoh: (c)(c) Artifact. At the beginning of your end step each opponent loses life equal to the amount of tapped creatures you control (such as those crewing vehicles). $6.25
- Replicating Ring: (c)(c)(c) Artifact mana rock. Taps for one many of any color, when it hits the 8th turn that it's been out it bursts out 8x artifact treasure tokens. $0.17
- Teferi's Ageless Insight: (c)(c)(u)(u) Legendary Enchantment. Each time you would draw an additional card, except for your first draw phase card, you draw two instead. (Sram, Silent Submersible [(u)(u) crew 1, 2/3 Vehicle] Blue draw, etc.) $2.50
- Grand Architect: (c)(u)(u) Creature. Other blue creatures you control get +1/+1. One blue mana to make target artifact creature become blue until the end of turn. Tap an untapped blue creature you control to add (c)(c). Spend the mana to cast artifact spells or activate abilities of artifacts. $1.00
-Mechanized Production: (c)(c)(u)(u) Aura. Enchant Target artifact you control. At the start of your upkeep creature a token that's a copy of the enchanted artifact. If you control 8 or more artifacts with the same name, then you win the game. This doesn't mean 8 of the enchanted artifact, just any artifacts. You could win off of Replicating Ring's treasure tokens, for example. Making more vehicles or support artifacts is great, the instant win condition is just icing on the cake. $12.57
-Intangible Virtue: (c)(w) Enchantment. Creature tokens you control get +1/+1 and have vigilance. $0.20

Drake Haven, 2U, Enchantment. Whenever you cycle or discard a card, you may pay 1. If you do, create a 2/2 blue Drake cretaure token with flying.
Every time you activate Shorikai, you discard a card, so you can make Drakes that can block or crew.
Voltaic Key, 1, Artifact. 1, T: Untap target artifact.
Always better to have two.
Angelic Visitation, 3WW, Enchantment.
^ every creature token you make becomes a Serra Angel instead. Better for crewing, but also for murdering your opponent.

Cards with «Madness» are amazing with Shorikai. You have a consistent discard engine through your commander, so use it😄
Valor and Wonder are also two fantastic cards in this deck, just because you straight up discard them

This card just so happens to be in my commander deck, but not as my commander. My commander makes it so that vehicles have crew two. If only the two both had partner.
Shorikai is way better than kotori

It makes pilots pilot tokens so it reminds me on the numerous Rei clone. The prodigy pilot has a confident flavor text like Asuka, but is moonfolk...
It even has a board whipe kinda like the third impact

I already made up a Gundam proxy on cardsmith that I'm going to have made, along with an Amuro Ray version of Kotori the pilot Moonfolk.
Bc Moonfolk to me means "Newtype" haha.
And an alternate Raff Capashen that is Bright Noah, the captain of the White Base, and turning Weatherlight into the White Base ship.
They have made terrible mistakes allowing me to have Mecha in Magic
Neon Genesis Evangelion reference, not Gundam.
Wouldn't it have been great if they did like alt versions of these cards with anime like they did with Dracula in Crimson Vow? I'm thinking the Arbelest from Full Metal Panic honestly.
This card is Neon Genesis Evan-engine and noone can tell me otherwise
I feel Traxos is missing from most vehicle decks...crew 7 for 4 mana, cast an artifact untap it and crew more ez 🤣

This is probably a bad idea but I want to build a mill deck that abuses draw to mill payoffs and shorikai’s ability
intruder alarm and you can mill yourself if there are 2 mana dork creatures so basicly only 1 enchantment or isocron scepter combo. Infinite mana and infinite and untap
