I was thinking the same thing. That's post-natal depression that wasn't dealt with right away so it got worse.

Jesus Christ this is EXACTLY what my sister is like. She sees her son like... once a year, and after her divorce she ran away across the country with her boss and had a replacement baby, who is now being raised primarily by her grandma. She sees her a couple days a week, but pretends she's the perfect, dutiful mom on social media. When she DID "take care of" my niece, she ended up with a diaper rash so bad it caused open, bleeding sores and advanced ringworm. She does not deserve those beautiful babies, she barely cares about them. We no longer speak, she's a trashy person and a horrible sister.
