My sister has ended up with a guy like this :/ she was incredibly smart and completed a degree in criminology and had hopes of being a forensic scientist. And then she met a guy like this and now she's working in a wine shop, no longer allowed to contact us (due to her bf) and she's not even living with him nor does he ever visit her... It's always her that puts in all the effort. It's really sad when you see someone you love brought down by someone else.
i dont see what he offers her in their relationship. if she works 2 jobs why cant they afford an apartment? even if it was a studio apartment. i mean i was a single parent i worked and went to school at the same time and was still able to afford a crummy tiny apartment but i had power, running water and a roof over my head and still had time for my baby at the end of the day. couldn't afford a car but thats what the bus is for. i would rather have the apartment than the car any day

They are asking her to change jobs or change her hours so she can be with her kids in the afternoon, give them showers, teach them table manners, tuck them in bed, read them a bedtime story, etc. If she lives in the house of her mother and dependent on her, she is obligated to follow the rules. She sees her son maybe twice a year, and she pushes her replacement daughter (after she ran away across the country with her boss) off onto her grandparents as much as possible. When she WAS primarily taking care of that baby, she developed advanced ringworm and a diaper rash so bad she had open bleeding sores. There's no excuse for that. We no longer speak, I get updates from her grandmother. That beautiful little girl deserves the world, and instead ended up with immature, toxic, abusive trash. I have no interest in ever seeing my dear sister again, and that's only one of many reasons why.
