My uncle was in the airforce years ago down in Georgia. He and his unit were helping fight a forest fire. At some point the Red Cross showed up trying to sell them sandwiches and water. Some point later the Salvation Army showed up giving them food and water. To this day he never gives money to the Red Cross but does donate to the Salvation Army.

I lived in Manama Bahrain when I was in the Navy (20years) on my final deployment, and we stayed in town in a hotel occupied also by Russians, Saudis, French, English and others, and we never had any issues with one another. Partied with mostly Russians and they were amazing and friendly and really nice. Even the people who worked out in town from Ethiopia, the Philippines, India and other places were the nicest and most sincere people I ever met. The problem is not between the peoples of other countries, it’s the government’s that suck..

Overall A ton to be learned on there. I came across it learning about the terrain theory (a MUST LEARN) I implore everyone to put their bias aside and just buy the book goodbye germ theory before you dismiss it. That's what I did. your entire world paradigm shifts dramatically.. forever. Especially on everything to do with medicine/big pharma etc. It's rated 5 stars with 600 reviews if that tells you anything. Just reading the forwards, and the reviews gives you a idea of the value and importance. Sorry for the huge comment, just want whoever is still stuck in the matrix to break free, before it's too too late.

Jim, I seen how close you live to the Gulf of Mexico and it is incredible that your subdivision didn't get wiped out. I think if you lived one subdivsion to the west your house would have been under water. For you not to even lose power is amazing and I'm so happy for you and your wife to have not suffered any loss. I was looking at a few homes close to the Naples Zoo area and both of those houses had major water damage. Glad your safe!

I can't believe what IAN did to Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel, Pine Island, and all the rest it's mind blowing. Especially living through past hurricanes that never experienced the storm surge. People living in tents at Walmart on 6mile and Colonial. Food trucks seem to be helping now that everything is closing extra early.
Reading the comments and I love all the love being spread. Tells you a lot about the Man Jim is and the energy he spreads. Keep positive people. Love and truth will prevail.

I live in Ft Myers, FL. Born and raised and the spirit here is unbelievable! We will rebuild, we wait for no one. We had a temporary road built to Pine Island, which was completely devastated in 3 DAYS. We have a temporary causeway built to Sanibel in about 5 DAYS. In two weeks from this catastrophic storm we are already rebuilding! It's amazing to see. Restaurants that are open are donating portions of their profits to the employees of Restaurants that are totally gone on Ft Myers Beach. The list goes on and on...I will never leave here! I'm so proud of my community ❤

Jim, I am 52 and have never had children because I was afraid and didn't meet the love of my life until 42. It must have be amazing to have that Union that you, your wife ad kids and it makes happy me to see a successful person truly being honest. You inspire me. I am monetarily poor but, the person I found to love makes this existence does still. have good. We went through Michael a few years back my mother- in -law lives on assistance but had an adorable place and it was a wreck. But, we just got together and help each other. It hit the panhandle Mexico Beach, PCB, South Alabama and Georgia and the government did very little but neighbors were your lifeline. ✌❤🙏

I didn't know who you were until about 3 months ago. I suppose you can thank Glenn Beck for turning me onto this. I thought that my teachers and heroes were all dead, but I never bothered to account for the ones that I had yet to find. I'm doing important work right now, important work on me because I cannot change anything until I can truly view my own self with compassion and love. Otherwise, I'm just another hypocrite. It's funny in a dark way but I hate hypocrites and I've come to understand that I become what I hate. I'm not sure if I have any answer to that paradox except to understand that alternatively, I can become what I love, and leave hate behind to wander aimlessly. Perhaps that's the real answer, the logical answer, you actually put fire out by starving it and I think that's what we need to do with all of this darkness.

About my bachelor's degree that I could wipe my ass with. I only did it so I could keep the job that I was already doing. I've veterans service officer and the state of pennsylvania. Doing claims and pensions and for disability things like this. And also traveling to certain colleges that weren't heavily using the GI bill. So I would do like a sales pitch kind of.
But beyond that everything I've done like I said in my previous comment has been technical and trade schools and jobs obviously. and I hate when people turn their nose up at workers like myself. Like you have to go to college. You don't want to be like that guy. Can go to a trade school for 5:00 or $7,000 depending on the trade. Pay it off within a year or two but make $60 70,000 is first year. Well people go in debt 50 60 100,000 going to college and then they get out and they're not even promised a job in their field because their field is so obscure it means nothing. These kids are lied to starting from elementary school into high school. They can be anything they want to be but that's not even true. They're promised the world. In my opinion that's why the suicide rate exponentially went up in the last decade. These kids are promised everything whether it's out of high school or out of college and then life slaps them in the face and it's such a culture shock that they can't handle it. Or they get the jobs in their field and they think they're going to be making six figures but since they're starting out they're only making 45 $50,000 or whatever it might be. And they're like wait I thought I paid all this money to go to school and for this career that really doesn't exist. And I could have done this job on the job training. But if you notice because it's covid showed people that they don't even need to go to these institutions for the education. and speaking of the education as well this whole bailout b******* the middle class that didn't go to college has to pay for these upper echelon class .. No one paid for my trade schools. And you would think the VA would but I think they're starting to now but they didn't when I was doing it and three trades I think it was like 15 18,000.
